BUILD REQUEST: support build for duo

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a good support build for a duo 1-20 (possibly epics) run I'm going to do with a Tempest ranger (or some other melee build in general, possibly TWF with big dps).

Going to be mostly elite/r1 difficulty wise.

My char is gonna have 2 wiz and 1 sorc PLs, decent caster gear, duo is gonna have a ranger PL and a bit undergeared (although AH can fix that decently I think).

Obviously I was thinking about Warchanter but that requires me to be in melee quite a bit too, and I wouldn't wanna steal the spotlight. I'm really liking the new Greater Color Spray so I might grab that for cc on any build I choose, I was thinking FvS/AoV for some soloability just in case and the cool crown to pass but I don't know much about it (I very rarely play casters in general).

Edit: I didn't point out I would like to emphasize the support role with buffs/cc in order to make the DPS of the duo shine the most

I've been playing around with a 17 FvS/ 2 arti / 1 alch inquisitive build that pretty much fills in any roll decently and acts as good support for grouping with newer players. The 1 alch is so it can grab the false life based of int score on casts; which when mixed with machine gun rapid fire SLA close wounds from FvS is insanely good in heroic levels. The false life falls off in effectiveness as it approaches epic levels but it's great for people with few reaper points as false life is great padding and isn't effected by reaper heal penalties. There's similar builds that do 19 Fvs / 1 Warlock for the CHA based false life but since I'm running a trapper splash then INT w/alch is a more viable stat to use.
