So, i've been playing on and off since 2006 , i still have the wayfinder scepter from the event. I was an avid fan of this game took a break and decided to come back with my friends who i convinced to get into the game. everything was going great until i decided to transfer off my home server of Sarlona.

https://www.ddo.com/en/world-character-transfer-guide , i used this guide on the website before i made my purchase. if you notice it has no mention of favor. not thinking of anything because i read the full guide I make my purchase to find i can't play the character i transfered. who would pay for a transfer then not be able to just play? no one.

I reached out to customer service to get the worst response in all my years of gaming , not EA not Blizzard Not anyone gave me the results i got at Standing Stone Games, I asked for a simple resolution to the misinformation of the service, what is the response? nothing we can't do that sorry. I just gave your company 95 usd. and you can't help my issue and wanted me to spend more? All i want at this point is a refund for the amount and forget this issue. I've been a member on both lotro and DDO , never had an issue for 14 years until now. I remember when the inspired quarter was the starter area before it all. I remember the passion here at DDO. I'm more sad that the game i love and was wanting to revitalize with more members has the worst customer service i've met in my personal history. I don't care if you ban my account. I just want my money back for the misinformation on your website. Thank you for your time, and i hope no other player ever gets into the mess i have with this lack of service. Thank you.

Sorry to hear that. Have you considered posting on the server forum of whichever server you transferred to? I'd imagine you'd be able to find someone willing to zerg you through some or all of the quests you need for the favor to unlock whatever favor related unlock you are missing there.

I'm guessing if you just spent 95 dollars you aren't against investing in the game. When you have some time to cool off i bet you will realize you are partially responsible for this mistake. If you've had 1 problem in 14 years i think you are on an unbelievable run. If this is the worst problem you've had with ddo then you are quite lucky. Unless you have a combo of things you need to buy like character slot, race of some kind, enhancement tree, etc, etc then it shouldn't be too terrible to free you're toon and make it playable.

When i say you are partially responsible you may have read the guide but didn't think about what you've unlocked on whatever server you're coming from and what you haven't unlocked on whatever server you went too. If you're a ftp player i believe iirc there's lots of disclaimers about things only unlocking on the server you unlocked it on. While i do agree you have a good argument that the guide should be updated. Use this as a lesson to others. Make a toon, farm some favor. Spend a few bucks more or ask for farming help here in the forums and i bet you will find a few people willing to help.

In conclusion, if this is you're worst ddo problem you are very very lucky. While it sucks and i totally get that. There are far, far worse problems that could have happened to you. Best of luck but yah i don't see them giving in and freeing your toon for you here. This won't be an argument you win or one even worth fighting cause there's no chance they give you free stuff unless they give everyone free stuff. Good Luck

You realize you're info is now on their radar. I highly doubt the billing people and the dev's or gm's talk much but they probably sit pretty close as small as SSG is. If you received whatever you spent 95 dollars on the transaction was completed already you won't get a refund most likely. You also realize they may ban you for trying to hurt them by trying to take your money back in this type of manner??? Then you'd still be out the 95 dollars and be banned for trying to say you were defrauded? Depending on how you approached having Paypal get your money back Paypal could ban you and bring charges if either side really pushes the issue and it's investigated????

I obviously have no idea of how you approached this but speculation on my part would be you claimed some kind of billing fraud. Hopefully you didn't do that. It'd suck going to jail over your video game lol. Depending on your criminal record i doubt you'd actually go to jail but the thought of someone going to jail over video games did make me laugh a bit. If you don't want anymore comments you probably shouldn't be responding . If you ask Cordovan, Severlin, or Lynnabel they will sometimes come and lock a thread so it doesn't spiral. there is no easy way to find my purchase history. i wanted to buy some DDO packs. but after fighting and fighting to stay logged in when going into the market it only shows a windows 98 like page and shows the pack names and list price but does not show that I have purchased any.. which i know i have. so i want to find a way to see what all i have bought on this game.
Also.. coming back after a two year break and noticed I am missing a TON of stuff. I am on the Sarlona server and I am missing a Char completely, I am missing a TON of my gear that I had previously gotten and or made. My Main Char is missing 2 past lives (Warlock, Artificer) and all the gear I had previously gotten for them including all the raid gear i spent countless hours farming mats for.. I am missing the favored soul, anything I had built up favor for, and somehow can not use the Rogue iconic class anymore even though i have had a few of them. also missing nearly 90 levels of Canith crafting and ALL of my canith crafted items... and all the stuff i got from thunder holme. or thunder forge.. or what ever. and am flat out missing things i paid for with ddo points most of which i bought... so I would like to know why I am missing all of this stuff an how do I get it back.. it seriously aggravates me that i spent so much time on these characters just to have my stuff deleted.

There was a rollback on Thelanis and Wayfinder in past few months due to some "circumstances".

It could be that they hadn't a recent snapshot of your toons/account so you've got some very old snapshot backup'd.

I've heard of some cases where undelete process also rolled back your character a few hours/days so this might be a common issue.
