Lost 1000 threads of fate when removing from shared bank

1,000 threads of fate just disappeared into the ether when I removed them from the shared bank. They are gone - not in my inventory, not in any bags. I've heard of other people losing them too. Any help getting them back would be much appreciated.

Have you tried relogging, and then searching in your inv, bags, personal bank, shared bank, shared bank crafting storage?

Yes - tried restarting the client, searched all bags, shared bank, inventory, and shared crafting bank. They are gone.

Did they autostack with another stack you had in inventory already?
Was your inventory full or nearly so?
Have you tried opening up a bag and clicking gather? Perhaps they are in your inventory, and you've overlooked them? Or...
Perhaps they are hidden underneath some other items from inventory being full? Try moving the top most left most items from the first inventory tab to the bank?
Is it possible the transfer from the bank never actually happened? Meaning, did any amount actually get deducted from the bank? Perhaps they never left the bank?

Thanks but none of those are the cause. To clarify, I removed 1068 from the shared crafting bank but only 68 made it to my inventory. The other 1,000 disappeared.

Suspiciously equivalent to the stack size of the tiny/small green bag.
Would be worth checking to see if you have another green bag in your inventory.

Checked all bags. They are not there. I can try vendor buyback but I highly doubt they will be there. I heard someone else lost 8k threads in the same way.

Would be nice if game support would respond to the ticket I opened.

I'm not sure whether I pulled them out of the crafting bank to put in my pack (I think I did this in preparation for crafting augments), or if they were auto-pulled by barter box in the soulforged augment crafting cauldron thingy. One of those two events is the cause, not sure which.

I did check the vendor buy-back list as someone suggested - nothing there either.

Same issue just happened to me but I lost 6000ish. Making an augment in Cadence cauldron that pulled the ingreds from the shared bank.

3. Is your bag set to auto gather, and if so, how many spaces in the bag are available, such as 10/50 filled, etc. OR, are there SOME threads in the bag already?

When this occurs, do you have threads all in one place, such as all in the bank, or are they in multiple locations?

What's the max stack size in the bank, in inventory, in a bag, and in a crafting device window?

Did you open a crafting window FIRST, then close it THEN go to the bank? i.e., does the error occur if the crafting window is NOT opened before hand?

How did you close the crafting window? Run away from it, teleport away, close it by the interface, etc?

Do you have multiple stacks in the shared bank? If so, how many, i.e., one stack of X and one partial stack of Y amount.

1. Loads of spare space in inventory.
2. no encumbrance.
3. I have 1 green bag with loads of space and set to auto gather.

All 6000ish threads where in shared bank (6000ish as it was more than 6000 but can't recall the exact number)
They were all in a single stack. I historically pulled the whole stack out to make fili's that's how I know this.

I had no threads on the character. I was making an augment using the mornlands armor in the cadence cauldron. All the materials for the recipe where in the shared bank.

The 1st augment was created and I was about to make a second augment and that's when it said I only had 10 threads in the shared bank.

I searched every bag and location. logged out and in, reset PC. No threads .. Gone for good.

I have cancelled my sub .... I spend around $200 buck every other month. I have let my guild know I won't be back and this is likely my last post.

I'm only putting this here as a warning to those that still play. This game is grindy and to be defeated by what only can be described as terrible programming, which is recent as that cauldron is under 2 years old so no blaming the previous guys. I am no longer willing to part with my money for sub par development.

This is still happening. Just lost over 9K threads when crafting a Soulforged augment in Hall of Heroes. It ate all 9K+ Threads of Fate from Shared Crafting storage instead of only 50.

No, not in buyback, or Lost and Found mail, or green bag, or inventory, or character bank, or shared bank, or shared crafting storage. Just GONE.

I opened one, but if they don't address my missing 9K threads, I'm gone. No way I'm going to just accept losing the results of years of raiding across multiple characters.
