    Question Blackrazor or Constellation?

Every once in a while I go to 30 while using a thf build. My issue is, I have two greatswords that are both equally promising, and cannot decide which to use. My two options are

    OR

    https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Conste...,_Cursed_Blade (Completed)

Which one would be best for, let's say, a barbarian?

Depends greatly on content you are running.

If you're mainly running solo, or quests with high density of mobs then Blackrazor is vastly superior. Not only does it have extra +2W on weapon swings, it's passive from soul stealing grants +20 MP and 20 dmg.

If you are raiding then Constellation can be bit better, since both fetters and improved destruction increase damage of entire raid. Assuming nobody else provides vulnerability and destruction stacks. Not sure how much damage does accursed flame procs give, but propably it's not too much. In general weapon procs are meh in higher difficulties.

There are other good options if you're not married to using great swords. Tail of Suulomades is BiS for pretty much all THF builds, since it provides the most base W damage, and vorpal procs. If you can get your hands on it i'd propably use that one with t5 in frienzied berserker for super good crit range 15-20/x4

Tail sounds great. Guess I'll keep an eye out for that one. Thanks

    For a barbarian? Neither.

One of the Tails (Scorpion or Suulamades) or Baz from project Nemesis.

RE: Greatswords - The critical profile is worse than falchions. Greataxe allows for some massive hits with Fury. People are running around with Blackrazor because it's a favored weapon (paladin) or for CHA to-hit/damage (PDK).

RE: Constellation - The base damage is low. You also won't have sufficient attack speed with a THF weapon as a barb to keep all the constellation debuffs constantly stacked up. Debuffing is best left to a TWF build.
