Devs - When will new "standard" augments be added to the Store/Vendors please?

Sapphire of Vertigo
Sapphire of Stunning
Sapphire of Shatter
Sapphire of Accuracy
Sapphire of Dodge
Topaz of Damage
Topaz of Spell Penetration

It is extremely, and increasingly, frustrating not being able to access these on a straight-forward basis as we can with other standard augments (e.g. wizardry), and it really should have been thought through for launch of the new expansion. In some cases lack of access significantly hampers accessing the flexibility around gear that the expansion is supposedly seeking to achieve.

When will you address this apparent oversight please?

Yes, or at least give us some kind of way in-game to work towards acquiring them.

Having items meant to satisfy basic gear needs, but having them completely dependent on random chance, with a low drop rate, completely defeats the purpose of having them in the first place.

Make them tradeable for some kind of (non raid) game currency, add augments to reward lists for certain quests or chains (Teth makes thematic sense and could use the loot boost), make them favor rewards for outdated patrons, etc.

Some of the new filigree on Lam in the new content were slightly better than the old ones.

Agreed. These should be more available. It's frustrating for sure. I don't really understand their logic of making these so incredibly rare and random. There's a bunch of augments I'd like to have but don't even consider them now when looking at possible endgame gearsets because there's no way to reasonably obtain them.

OP have you tried posting on the server trade forums here, or in various discord channels, or simply asking people you know in game to ask around? I agree it would be nice to be able to just buy them in the store, but I've had decent luck with obtaining things like this via good old fashioned social interaction. Everyone has their galactic bag of holding-everything-in-the-f*****g-game, you might be surprised that your coveted augment is just collecting dust in some other player's bag.

Yes I did try asking other players but these things were so rare there were none to spare.

I actually got what I was looking for quite soon after my first post, paying what seemed an extortionate amount on the AS Exchange at the time, though that sum was dwarfed by subsequent items in fairly short measure thereafter, though whilst personally being OK, that doesn't alter anything in terms of the fact these items should have been widely available, through vendors and store, ages ago.

Other threads have since sought to address this far more eloquently than I. Without much success though, afaik.

I would say this is quite an indictment of SSG imo... The lack of apparent joined up thinking by SSG here, on something that should be as simple to address as it is painfully apparent, doesn't bode well at all for the more complex changes SSG are looking to apply over U50-51.

Just one reason my confidence, or lack thereof, means regrettably I am no longer playing the game at all now, and just dipping into the forum occasionally to keep up with developments... This will remain the case until at least the dust has well and truly settled on U51, so some time away yet.
