    Default Dragon Armour

I realize that when Gianthold was revamped, Dragon Armour was given some improvements but I think there is room for more, particularly in the upgrade sense. It would be quite easy to adjust the upgrade altar to increase things like MRR, PRR. as well as Attack Speed, and spell penetration and fortification.

    My thinking is this:

White armour should be the focus of PRR, and greater melee weapon power and melee attack speed.
Black armour should be the focus of greater ranged weapon power, ranged attack speed, and perhaps deadly +10-12
Blue armour should be centered around spell casting, +4 to spell penetration, +4, +100 potency, a quality stat improvement of +3 to intelligence, charisma, and wisdom and +15% spell lore.

The costs of improvements of course would involve the corresponding scales plus 20 of each epic relic type as well as letters that are in place now.

As it stands no one can be bothered to even make a set of dragon armour anymore and as such this high fantasy aspect of the game is being lost.

I think red and green armour should also be explored with similar expansions as well, perhaps +15 seeker in the case of red dragon armour as an example.

The devs dont do rework for the sake of rework. They bundle in sweeping changes like this when revisiting an associated system or adventure module. Until Legendary Gianthold is a thing, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Right now dragonscales are circulating as a currency. It'd be nice if they had some alternative use, like grinding them down for Cannith crafting, or maybe using them for pots, or for special augments. Something like that would be easy to implement.

As far as revamping the armor or making new armor, idk about that. But who knows, maybe one day.

most people are using Sharn set armor from level 15 onwards. There's no point in updating existing armor unless it can compete with Sharn sets.
And for glamoring stats are irrelevant anyway.

I'd like to have some of that armor just for the looks - but Dragon Scales are really, really rare ...
