I have not seen a single random loot gen item drop with aug slots since the update and I've run a lot of quests. Am I just unlucky, or are others also not seeing random items with augs anymore? Is this a bug, or a WAI change?

Currently it seems they still drop with slots but we simply cannot see them (ie need to be held in inventory, log out, then log back in to see if any new random loot you collected had slots) - so hoping this is on the fix list for the futureSame deal for the quest end rewards from what i can tell...

Not exactly ideal is it but hopefully once ironed out the new system will prove quite nice for us. I hadn't thought about relogging when presented with a reward list but it's worth a shot i guess - let me know if you have any luck with that![]()
Am I correct in understanding that the issue with random loot in chests and in the end reward lists is Working as Intended? I can deal with the irritation of logging off and on again to identify slots in inventory (not sure how long the irritation factor will take to become 'I cannot be bothered'), but how can we decide which is the best item to take on a reward list when we cannot see all the aspects of each item? As one who likes to craft things, I used to always be looking at the reward lists specifically for those items.
Add to that named items with augments that drop in chests have to go through the 'unslot it, log off, log on again' shuffle and this will go on forever? There is of course the bonus that we now have a (cheap) means of unslotting those for sentient gem fodder, but it is a one time deal. Put it back in and you are back to the expensive Jeweller's Tool kits to get them out before feeding your sentient gem.
Swings and roundabouts I guess, but the irritation level is high in this one.

I really hope this isn't how things are planned to stay because as you, i liked to check the end lists for anything that might be craftable, especially since the arrival of the double slotted loot. That being impossible at present, I'm having to go with guild renown from those end lists now in the hope that in future it may get fixed.

I've seen 0 random items as well. I think It's broken.
Since they have colours on the item description now, It is difficult to miss any augment item.

Ah, My guildie confirmed that they're appearing since today. He said he couldn't see any of augmented random loot item until today. He thinks SSG nurfed the drop rate too badly?

As far as i can tell they're dropping as regularly as before but we simply can't see them unless logging out and back in again with them retained in inventory. I've pulled a couple of double slotted items that way since the update, but cannot see any slots in random gen loot in quest reward list or from chests until i relog. It's pretty painful as it currently is so hopefully it might be addressed soon...
Update:
I can confirm that a relog does make previously unseen augment slots in end-reward lists appear.
So, after finishing a quest mark the new items from the chests in your inventory and talk to the reward NPC to get the reward list. After getting the reward list, you can relog and check the reward list as well as the new chest loot in your inventory for augment slots befre selling them or choosing a reward.
This is extremely cumbersome and since a simple relog has memory leaks, you should also completely quit the game client every 5 or 6 relogs or you may start getting client lag (in addition to the annoying server freezes).

Ouch - well thanks anyway for the info - at least we know they are still there in some form or otherNot sure i can put myself through all that hassle for every quest end list, but i do try to relog now before offloading my inventory...

I'm not bothering to login until the augment relog issue is fixed. It's quite possibly one of the most customer service incompetent thing they've done. One would think they couldn't drop the code quality bar any lower, but they tunneled under their already ground level quality bar like Andy Dufresne without the redemption.
hey, another augment bug with new augments: Red spell power augments (like devotion, combustion, etc) are not granting Implement bonus when they're slotted into a weapon.
Confirmed with Epic sworn silver longsword and a level 20 devotion augment. Should be giving +21 universal spell power implement bonus and is not. Verified by both absence of reported spell power on the inventory report and by checking on the spell power tab.
I have pulled random loot from the reincarnation cache that had 1 or 2 aug slots. As soon as those items appeared in personal inventory, the aug slots ceased to exist. Do not know if this was intentional or not.
Of course this means that you also cannot see Augment Slots on unnamed Auction House/Shard Exchange items. (Presumably not unless the vendor has logged out and in with them, or maybe not even then).
