Tested. Only one the old one stacks with standard DC focus item I've got equipped.

I'm hoping this is a bug. As the level 24 augment wouldn't have stayed +2 if it wasn't meant to stack, would it?

It's a bug of some sort. Either it should be +2 and still stacking, or as non-stacking it should match the Cannith Crafting values, which would be +5 for ML 24.

I wouldn't be that surprised if they wanted to nerf the stacking, but +2 non-stacking is just wrong at level 24.

I've checked on Live just now against a wide variety of Spell Focus items, and the Augment both stacks with other gear (visible in the + panel in the character sheet) and lists its Enhancement modifier in the Effects channel of chat, where enabled (usually in the Combat tab). What I said above is accurate.

If that isn't matching your experience, I'd love to know what items you're equipping and see your Effects log when you equip the relevant equipment.
