Low Level Chronoscope Anyone?

Hello Ghallanda! Long time no see.

I've been away from game for ages, but back now and warming up, but I've embarked on a silly mission to do every quest in the game on elite at level and put the results on YouTube. More for my own amusement than anything else, and in the full knowledge that it is going to get HARD when I get to - for instance - The Twilight Forge. That's not for a while yet though - right now I am working through the Level 6 quests and as I tick them off I am getting closer and closer to having no choice but to do The Chronoscope. There's no way I'll be able to do take the devastator without company, so I thought I would start talking on the forums and see if I can pick up any TR groups etc who could help me dream the impossible dream.

I am mostly playing in the evenings at the moment. Pulling something out of the hat I'm gonna say my first try will be Friday evening at 7.30pm GMT... I'm level 8 so probably gonna cap the joining level around there or one or two higher just to preserve the purpose of the YouTube "at level" thing. XP has long been meaningless on this mission...! But for now - what do u reckon? Is this something people do all the time nowadays? Or is it something thought to be difficult still? The game's changed a lot since I was on here regularly.

In game you can find me on Sloggy - just send me a mail if I'm not logged on. It'd be nice to see some of you again anyway. I've been pretty antisocial since I got back. I might log on to my main some time and see what things are like now at cap...

I forgot there was new content coming out this week, which might partly explain the low (non-existent) take-up.

I went in on my own as a fact finding expedition. Made it as far as the devastator but there's no way I have got the DPS to bring it down and deal with all the trash on my own. Cost me a fair few pots as well for the try but at least I know now.

I'll be on doing Feywild etc - send me a tell on Sloggy if you think you might feel like helping. I won't try again for at least a week but at some point I'll have to get this signed off before I can take level 9...

Or I'll just bypass it, but that feels like cheating...
