Default What does this lever do in Eyes of Stone?

I looked around after pulling it, nothing seemed to change. I also tried pulling it before opening the secret doors and nothing happened. Any ideas? The room is the one adjacent to the locked Coined Lords Chest, should be pretty obvious.

Edit: in all my years here I never noticed it before...

It's in the coin lords room, under his desk. It serves no real purpose in game, but in theory it would be like a button that calls the security to your room(but they where turned to stone!).

Btw, I don't actually know though.

yes, I know where it is--as per the OP--but I have no idea what it does. I suppose it does nothing? It would be funny to have it drop in a pit of spikes or open a secret vault somewhere.

*ahem* it's a leftover from our old stealth mechanism in certain quests, only stealth players can find it.

    lolz.

There is one in "Just Business", too, floating in the middle of the air after the 2nd fight, 1st bridge. You can target it, pull it, but I have no idea what it does. (I got a picture somewhere, I just need to find it.)

    Cheers,

This lever looks to me as if one of the Coin Lords would use it to dispose unwanted guests ...
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"

It really doesn't serve a purpose. IIRC, it disables one of the barriers for the exit to the 2nd floor, but you still can't exit the area without freeing all the coin lords and killing all the elemental gnolls anyway.
