When will hardcore transfers be back?

Just as the subject says, do we have any sort or ETA or even best WAG on when the transfers will be available. I have one toon left ther but it's the one with all the good "stuff" I accumulated and would love to bring him over to my main server.

I was wondering the same thing. It would be nice to know what is going on.

Even if they don't figure out what is happening, it would be nice to at least *try* to move my character over.

Has the Hardcore shutdown date been pushed back?

I may have missed such an announcement. If not, it seems that without a fix on the way yet, and no idea when it will be, that puts the most optimistic date about the same time as the scheduled shutdown. I would hate to miss a small window just because I wasn't camping on the forums.

Better question is when will the next season begin? I don't want to start a character a few weeks before shutdown.

I assume that since Cocomajobo said that they are working on the issue they will extend the shutdown date. Since HC4 isn't coming any time soon, they don't need to shut HC3 down immediately.

Logically I'd agree - but with the release of Feywild etc. it doesn't harm to remind them of other issues.

I think it's safe to say that Hardcore has been a HUGE cash cow for SSG. If they cut short transfers and didn't allow them back again before HC4 I sure as heck wouldn't be playing on it. I expect many others would feel the same.

Don't get me wrong the first was amazing, HC2 could have been but it came so soon it just wasn't. HC3 was, well silly given the extra lives but they did open it up to Premium and that was a good idea. The only reason I really stuck around post-HC1 was that I get to bring a toon over with all the gear / xp stones / materials collected. It wasn't as good as putting the time in on my sorely neglected main but it was just enough compensation to go with.

Take that away and I am done, my VIP can lapse and I will happily go back to premium.

SSG is too smart to let that happen, I am very confident they will be back long before the wipe and launch of HC4
