LF Guild on Ghallanda

Hi, I'm a returning player just now returning to the game after being gone for 8 years...yes, 8 years.

I was an officer in the guild Knights of the Old School (and I don't know if they are still active).

So, a little bit about me and what I'm looking for in a guild.

First off, I'm a 50 year old man who enjoys relaxing and having fun while gaming. Relaxing and having fun can mean many things to me. I prefer solo play...mainly because I've never found people who can or will play at the same times as me and always doing the same things as me with the same goals. Having said that, I do enjoy grouping up either with random people or with guildies.

I much prefer as little drama as possible..but of course, you can never eliminate drama completely.

I currently have 11 characters on the server (+ a mule character), of which I have only logged in to 2 of them since getting my account back 2 days ago. I have 2 mains, my lvl 20 Monk (who at the time 8 years ago was not quite maxed out with gear and stuff but he was working on it with the help of my guild) and I had a secondary main character named Wolfenx who I was working on completing the completionist who is currently a lvl 16 paladin (I believe on his third TR...I'll have to check to make sure, but don't recall how or where to check). I also have a rogue, a wizard and an artificer that I also played when taking a break from my 2 main characters. I don't recall at the moment my other characters.

My focus is to complete the completionist on Wolfenx, and when that is complete he will be my main...not sure what class to end with, but leaning heavily towards Monk (that may change though after I re-familiarize myself with all the classes and all updates since I've been gone...but Monk has always been my fav character class). Then at that point it will be time to start TR'ing my current Monk named Kuronis (though no real thought to get a 2nd character to completionist...but who knows, maybe I will. Depends on time)

I'm kind of a completionist in all things...whether questing or grinding areas I do like to go everywhere and uncover everything and maximize XP. I do like to try and complete things quickly but speed runs where you just race through non-stop "hurry" "hurry" are not fun. Fast is good but if you can't take the time to stop and smell the roses every now and then it's not fun. I can very much enjoy slow runs as well, especially when helping others to accomplish things. I by no means require fast runs...it's just that when I solo I like to complete as much as I can as quickly as I can without really feeling like I'm rushing everything!

So I'm looking for a guild that can help me develop my characters and which I can help you guys do whatever. I've always been a helpful person. Really high guild level is not a requirement for me...sure it would be nice, but certainly not necessary. I can use a LOT of advice and knowledge about the state of the game because I have a LOT to catch up on.

I'm in the Eastern Time Zone and usually play in the evenings here ... that is usually after 6PM EST until quite late.

Welcome back to DDO!

8 years is a long gap to return from! A lot has changed in the game in that time. I came back almost 2 years ago now from 8-9 year break myself.

My guild, Sacred Supremacy is actively recruiting players of any experience level. We are a smaller, but growing, guild. Currently 21 accounts, some are alt-accounts. We are currently guild level 68 with the biggest ship and all the buffs that we can get at our level.

Most of our players are US based, spread across the country. Some of our people are based in Australia. We do play almost daily in the afternoon/evenings and weekends.

Since we are relatively small we are quite drama free and laid back. There are a lot of new and/or returning players in a very similar position as you, as such we have been functioning as a training guild to help with builds, questing, and everything in between!
