Game freezing up and getting booted?

I've been having a LOT of issues with the game freezing up, chat stopping working, and the game shutting down.

This is a fairly recent thing too.

I know that this would happen from time to time before, but now it's happening on a daily basis, sometimes 2-3 times per day.

I just had it happen while standing on my guild ship. I was getting ready to start questing and was making some coffee when the game lagged out and I knew I was fixing to get booted.

Is this a new issue? Did something change in-game or could this be something on my end?

In terms of crashing, I've seen/had an increase of crashes due to reaper points loading in changes. Go into a quest and start buffing before they are loaded and poof goes the client.

I just put in ticket.

The game either crashes while I'm in game or when I try to log on. Sometimes when I try to log on I get the loading screen and it will never load. I have to restart the client.
When i am in game i see "you have been disconnected to the chat server error... then it say you have been reconnected tot he chat server. Sometimes when I try and enter a quest it will give me the loading screen of death and just hang. I have no other choice but to relog.
When I am in game questing, my network notification will first go orange and then red. After 1-2 minutes the game gets an error message saying "you have been disconnected to the chat server". It is a red box and you have no option but to close the game. When I try to relog, it wont let me.
I just uninstalled DDO and attempting to reinstall.
