I know this doesn't help you much, but maybe it gives hope...I pulled a random loot gen light crossbow with paralyzing (ML 11) from one of the Ataraxia quests this morning.

I don't know how useful it would be though, and I almost vendored it. It is only a 17 DC, so basically most stuff will only be paralyzed 5% of the time. Stuff dies pretty quick to inquisitive ranged attacks, and dead is better than paralyzed.

I joined and R10 pug and there were two rangers with paralyze bows. You can’t kill fast in R10. But you can paralyze and then kill R10 mobs with no fear of being hit.

This is what i am trying to do .. make a build that can R10 Racial lives

Paralyzing is available on random loot and Cormyrian (Estar challenge) weapons. There's some named weapons with it, but not any crossbows.

Wiki says As regards Estar challenge and Cormyrian weapons.... Ranged weapons are ineligible for receiving a tactics bonus relevant only to melee

Also there are no paralyzing BOLTS or enhancements to that effect.

So my only hope is to find a paralyzing light crossbow as random loot?????

Yikes!!!! With my luck, I am SOFL!

That means you can't get a ranged weapon with Shatter +X or Stunning +Y because you can't use those tactical feats with ranged weapons.

Wiki lists paralyzing as a tactical feat..the same as shatter..Or stunning..... if this is wrong then that is good

Pretty sure I had a Cormyrian great crossbow with improved paralyzing (and definitely several shurikens), so if you really want paralyzing specifically you're all good to play the lottery on creating Cormyrian light crossbows until you get lucky (and if you're unlucky you can turn them back into ingredients OR it's a pretty cheap way to feed a sentient weapon with level 24 crossbows at least). Also you can find freezing ice for a similar efficacy, cooler looking, but seemingly rarer effect. Even though you'd think an "on every hit, low DC save" would proc exactly as often as a "5% chance every hit to freeze with no save" it doesn't seem to be that way. You can even put sentience on the level 20/24 version of Cormyrian weapons so it's a decent choice for a few levels.

If you just want something for your inquisitive with a good CC proc and you're happy to "accept" modern DPS to go with it for legendary levels... try the Same Old Song in Sharn with nightshade venom which puts things to sleep constantly: https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Nightshade_Shooter and https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Legend...tshade_Shooter

If you saw Rangers doing this with Bows, that is more than likely because of their tree where they can choose Paralzying as an enhancement. The DC on it increases with their wisdom score. You are not going to find a weapon (any) with a DC high enough to paralyze in R10 content. (that is what I believe). DCs on weapons are always lower than what you build up with tactics to your character.

Also might have been using nerve venom from shiradi epic destiny. That's just a 7% chance to paralyze with no save.
