A Crazy Idea to make feywild named items more useful

How about we get some augments for Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter set bonuses? They can only be used on items that originally have a spring, summer, autumn or winter set bonus but you can change the season of the item at the cost of its augment slot. This would provide the player base with a lot more flexibility and I think help with a lot of the current complaints about the sets and named items.

That would actually be really helpful to the situation of the season sets. Did you post this suggestion in either the official Augment or official Loot threads? IDK how much the devs look in this sub forum when they have their hands full in the Official threads for the expansion topics.

IDK, it would completely change the balance since basically every item could be every set then, so you're completely invalidating the design tradeoffs that were planned and just turning the whole thing into a homogeneous pool, like the Heroic version.

I think you'd need to be able to enforce exclusivity on the set augment - only one "set swapped" item, but I dont know if the game's mechanics would allow for that. I dont know if adding the Exclusive tag to an augment that's slotted will make it impossible to equip two different pieces with that augment or what.

i like the idea, as said above, gotta keep in mind the balance. But it would be great if every set would have 1-2 items to change it to another one
