I understand your line of thinking, and haven't missed it at all. (I don't like the current configuration either, and understand the problems with it). However, the fact remains that while you (and others in this thread) have figured out how to tell the difference between these two unclear kinds of things, many players have not, which drove this initial change. (If it were a small number of players, we'd have no issue changing it back, but it factually isn't.) We understand you don't like the current configuration; it's going to stick around until we can make the larger change, so that we can fix both your issue and the issue that prompted the initial change.

FFS! Why all the rage over something so trivial? Seriously.. pages of it.

How about this.. have them bring and use their OWN potions and stop worrying about other people with your weak ass potions. You want to throw bottles at people then build an alchemist. If that is not good enough then use wands on them. And if THAT'S not good enough then roll a cleric and give it a personal touch.. ok that came out wrong.. but you get the gist of it.
