Default Instant Teleport item to Feywild / Btl of Mist / Boarding Pass

With Ravenloft there was a Bottle of Mist, and when Sharn was released, they introduced the Boarding Pass.

Both items game instant teleport to the new Expansions. Both were available with in their respected ultimate bundle packages.

The difference is that after Sharn was live, the developers decided to add a teleport option to Sharn by way of your guild ship. So the question is:

Will there be the same teleport option for the upcoming Expansion Fables of the Feywild?

    Hmm. Hard to say.

Sharn is basically an Airport allowing Airships to come and go (circle around endlessly as we see in the character selection screen ) and Dock often due to it's regional tendencies. So having an Ship drop off point there isn't strange.

Ravenloft is off on another realm. So being able to drop off there is likely a veto by Wizards.

Here, if the Feywilds location we get to is not deemed too remote, as it is still part of Eberron (I think), I guess we could see one. But otherwise, we basically get a ship access to a "local" map spot (like House J for Ravenloft) like always, so never "too far" away from one.

Invisible Fences, unkillable Target Practice Dummy's, Shared Bank's, Pale Lavender Ioun Stones, the dimensional barrier between Eberron and Shavarath, I've broken them all...

yeah, I am not sure it would be lore-appropriate if the guild airship could sail to the feywild. I do not think the feywild is supposed to be an actual geographic location - it is a alternate plane. although if they were to introduce a new feywild airship amenity, maybe that could add a farship location to the airship.

I do not know how ddo has implemented the feywild expansion though - maybe it will be some area in Eberron that the feywild has leaked into.

I am a bit disappointed though that they just added yet another teleport key/badge. If they were going to make a feywild teleport item, it should be a something like a toadstool mushroom that grows into a smurf house that you can enter through.
but even more so, I would have liked them to finally implement some type of skeleton key which you can feed or combine with your other teleport key items to unify inventory-wise.

(... and I would have also liked them to make a mount stable, similar to the companion stable. so far, mounts have not been an issue inventory-wise for me, but I would rather have a mount stable that you could directly select your mount rather than an inventory token)

I personally felt robed when they decided to make Sharn available to teleport from the guild airship.
I paid big bucks to get that teleportation boarding pass and everyone can go there easily just by being on an airship.

So now, I am going to buy the Ultimate package to get (among other things) a teleport thingy that is useless cause i could do the same directly from the airship?
Even Ravenloft is right at the exit of the airship in house J.

So what is the point of all this?

    I dont know...

The best thing about the Bottle of Mist is you can exit Blood on the Vine Tavern directly to Eveningstar. That was a very nice benefit.

Sharn Boarding Pass was good when it was very fast, then they nerfed the hell out of it because of Hardcore, and also gave it some stupid animation that added even more time to it. That's one of the big reasons I stopped liking Hardcore; the increasing practice of modding the entire game around a temporary event, even it degrades something you spent big $ to use in the regular game. Sad.

Currently planning to wait on Feywild until seeing if it delivers and SSG improves overall game performance/lag issues. If it does, will go the full $130. If it doesn't, well, don't want to think about that right now.

I do recall a lot of players feel quite similar when that all went down after Sharn was released. I definitely understood how everyone felt. Which is partly why i raised the question. If I take away all the cosmetics from the Ultimate Bundle, I want to know what I'm really getting.

P.S. Yes cosmetics do look good, but not MY main reason for purchase. Plus we all look the same when we are dead.

That's part of the trap. If you wait and see, you're locking yourself out of the powergaming ptw period, pushing your purchase closer to the endgame of the bait and switch. Imagine the poor people who bought the sharn ptw bundle to be ready for the next HC. Only winning move is not to pay/play, but then they take your racial completionist feat to punish you for being free to play.
