Anyone else disappointed that it only has 13 quests? Versus Sharn's 17, and I don't raid but I'm willing to bet the reduction from 2 raids to 1 isn't going to make many customers happy.

There's nothing to compare to the Dimensional Augment Bag (super-duper useful) in Sharn, Ravenloft had extra Shared Bank Storage. A hireling folder per character for those of us that buy the top package and have all these perma-hires would have been aces here and wouldn't be all that new of tech either.

No Mirrors of Glammering?! Why?

And no new Weapon Auras? But, but... Glitter Sparkles?! Come on, they already made a new aura for the Shadow Weapon imbue... I can't believe they didn't go the extra step to make it a cosmetic bonus item.

For once, I'm not sure that I want the top package... the white unicorn comes with the middle package. What does the Winter Eladrin look like on a female character?

I was very excited to check out the Feywild pre-order packages, but I'm sorry SSG... as much as I love the game, I'm not paying for mere cosmetics and other inventory sinks. I'm disappointed with these packages, and I was ready to purchase the ultimate bundle. Now I'm just left with a bitter taste in my mouth. When you pull back, I pull back. Should I continue my VIP membership? Should I continue to purchase DDO points? Are we looking at a game with diminishing returns on investment?

I hope you'll reconsider your offerings. It would do much to not only restore my faith, but unleash my wallet as well.

--The Mounts may be a big selling point for some people but even with mounts being out for a while now, they are still uncommon to see, and lets be honest, not that useful in an instanced based game.

While from Sharn, you got 140 Astral Shards (795), 3 Major Guild Renown Pots (1050 [350*3]), 20 Greater Treasure Pots (600 [300*2]), 5 Mirrors of Glamering (1225 [245*5)]), Weapon Auras (95+ [95* #ofCharacters]) and a Dimensional Augment bag (1595). All, except for maybe the Guild Renown pots, are useful to every player.


Ravenloft you got, 140 Astral Shards (795), 3 Supreme Cakes (1050 [350*3]), 2 Rest Shrines (1390 [695*2]), 5 Mirrors of Glammering (1225), Shared Storage 10 slots (995), Weapon Aura (95+), Character Slot (625) and 60 Days of VIP ($29.99)

Just from a point perspective that is 6175 Points + $29.99 VIP Code with Ravenloft, 5360 Points of with Sharn, and then 1620 Points + 2 Mounts for Feywild.
--I could not find single mounts for sale in the store, but that would make them worth about 2000 points each. Not sure if that will be the value of purchasable mounts in the future, but the Borderlands bonus items price would indicate that is about twice what they are worth since you get a 5 piece cosmetic set, mount bag (not in store) and a steed there for 2995 points.

Since it's BTA, just have an ALT get the better looking Black one. Then transfer the horse to your main.

I'm not sure they have ever added value after people started buying something. At least off the top of my head I can't think of an instance of it with the exception of adding a 2nd raid down the road. If they were open to adding a little something to make it more desirable, I would suggest:

Shadow Imbue Weapon Aura Per character
Huge Hireling Folder Per character (BECAUSE the people that buy the Ultimate Editions need one by now)
2 X Power Gamer Items... whatever it is that Power Gamer's want most XP pots/cakes/shrines/AS, IDK but two items that appeal to them.

I love cosmetics but I'm aware these bundles need to appeal to people that don't give a hoot about cosmetics too.

If this is the worst sold collectior's/UF they'll likely have better rewards for the next expansion. Doubt they'd increase the bonuses now. They knew before they launched it that this was a **** offer. They figured "let's find out exactly how much players are willing to pay for mounts".

While I do feel the intention is essentially true, that is it totally looks like the bundles were put together with the intention of seeing how little they had to offer us and still get us to buy the best package... I seriously doubt it was done with a malicious attitude. More likely it was someone testing out their business degree. I haven't seen anyone with a black unicorn ingame yet but I imagine a fair few have purchased the Ultimate Edition already. *shrug* We have no say in it, except to purchase what we think has value or not.

Leaving out the clipping problem, that's still a really bad looking Unicorn. Not just the beard - the mane is bad too. That's really awful looking.

Looks like a horse in unicorn drag, and not good drag, seriously. Like if John Waters put a unicorn in a movie, that would be the unicorn.

There is no logic to anyone buying the UF bundle until after go live. There's no pre-order bonuses so the point in spending money early is what exactly? If you want better package rollouts, and I have done more than my share blasting the way they've gotten worse over the history of expansions, simply don't spend money until the last instant and make them sweat.

Didn't Ravenloft and Sharn also come with that type of timed disclaimer? I thought that was just in-case something went wrong last minute there was a built-in grace period for last minute emergencies. Is that unusual for online products?

In the past the top bundle has also come with extra Mirrors, weapon auras, and additional goodies like Shared Bank Space or Dimensional Augment bag that give it added value to me, and while I don't often purchase such things as Astral Shards and XP pots I do see them as additional value as well.....

I'm feeling better about the fact that I looked at the bundles kinda side-eyed as well.

For me, a hoarder, another bump to the Shared Bank would have me digging into my xmas stash for the big one immediately.

As for the off-white - I'm gonna guess it's a matter of trying to get texture to show on pure white. If your item is already base color white, there's nowhere to go to pop highlights. Same with base black, there's no way to shade it.

Nah, it's lazy texturing.

Most historical unicorns don't have a 5 o'clock shadow or that they've been covered in squid ink from their feed bag.

This is me, exactly.

I bought the expensive pack for both Ravenloft and Sharn, didn't regret either even though the forums decried the "drop in value" in Sharn's pack compared to RL. I'd budgeted $130 for Feywild even if it was a slight drop content-wise, I'm a sucker for these things.

But wow, there just isn't enough there even for me. And since the Iconic class is the main thing I wanted, and it's not even in the middle pack, I'm just going to wait until the expansion releases and buy either the base or wait for it to be available for points. I can't believe SSG managed to convince me to walk away from both expensive options. But my wallet is happy!
