While I am happy to see the inclusion of displacer beasts, I am also both curious and worried about how they will be depicted in combat.

Since True Sight is so easily available, I assume that displacer beasts will have magical special illusion abilities that true sight somehow doesn't work on (like spell traps ignoring freedom of movement) so they can function as anything other than panthers with shoulder tentacles.

I'm hoping one per character but will let you know later.

Well... it is an expansion for level 5s. So, I guess newbies will all be murdered by displacer beasts. And in a few months time we'll be seeing regular posts demanding "nerf displacer beasts now!" from some poor casual that doesn't have hand me down True Seeing.

    • 2000 DDO points
    • 5 stones of experience (2 million xp each)
    • 1 Greater Tome of Learning per server
    • Lesser Tome of Learning for all characters
    • Cosmetics

And Shadowfell cost $50.00 and you got
    • 2000 DDO points
    • 1 Greater Tome of Epic Learning per server
    • 1 Skill tome per character
    • Cosmetics

And since then it's $130.00 and you get
    • Cosmetics
    • 1 Cool thing that improves your characters (+1 racial tome for Ravenloft, +1 universal tome for Sharn, +1 Epic Destiny tome for Feywild)

Sure, pSINNA still throws you money, SSG... because why not? But wouldn't you rather sell twice as many bundles by throwing in 2000 DDO points, and/or an Otto's box?

Wouldn't take much more to increase sales.. $100 JUST for a +1 ED tome is a bit steep for the large group of us that don't care about cosmetics.

I got the money... Would love to give it to you... But I hate to feel I'm wasting money. You keep failing over and over to make me excited to give you money.

Just one person's feedback... Falling on deaf ears I know... I've said the same thing the last two expansions too... I'm done now.

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.

I'm also all about giving $130 to SSG, but they don't really want my money because just look at that bundle. It's bad as it stands right now even if the cosmetics are the best in the game.

    Echoing this and Thrund,

    These bundles are atrocious.

it's not like we didn't know this already. they've gotten progressively worse over the years. i have 2.5k points ready on 4 of 6 ptw accounts. sure, i'll have to wait a few months, but that just gives me time to earn even more points. if hardcore rewards didn't already put a horse on every account, i may have considered for the unicorn. because unicorn.

Considering none of my characters can even use cosmetic pets (some bug, I dunno, I put in a ticket) and I just got the reaper platemail I've been eyeing for ages, and I'm a Tiefling so I can't wear hats, The only things I'm interested in are the... well... hmm...

I can't imagine getting to the Feywild will be terribly difficult considering it's level 5. Run the Lost Gatekeepers and step through a portal in the hut I'd imagine. So I can't see the Teleporter being all that grand.

Black Unicorn... tempting but, I like my horse. I killed many, many things on the Borderlands to get that horse. Also, here's a thing, what speed is the Unicorn? Or does Quall suddenly have a trader box for shoeing Unicorns?

+1 tome of Epicness. If I was the sort of person who spent more than 42 Heart Seeds worth of time at level 30 this might be interesting.

Think I may have just talked myself out of spending 60$

I cant agree more. To spend that much money for this expansion and get less then what you did from previous ones that you paid less for. I have the money too, but I dont care about cosmetics and being the cool one with a new mount. The last thing I want to feel is this game becoming like WOW where achievements, Mounts, Cosmetics are the centerpiece of the game.

I am hoping they redo the contents of the bundles to make them a bit more appeasing.

Yes. Its surprising to see so many ppl already posting that they already purchased the bundle. Compared to past bundles, this current offer is mostly cosmetic. Quite lackluster.

I bought the 130 bundle. Is all of it great? No. But I can afford to support the game, and I do like the tome for all my 40 characters (OK, I actually only play 2-3, but anyway). And I want the iconic anyway, and the teleport item will likely be semi-useful.

That is something at least, but are they not dropping the epic destinys in the 31+ levels?

So we buy a cool new thing only to have it taken away in the next update (when the level cap goes up)???

They are changing ED's sooner than later, if you scroll down to "expansion details" in store page you'll see this interesting line of text "Epic Destinies Access", with check mark for all editions. Does it mean we'll get all new ED's? What about old ones? Do I need to buy this expansion to have access to content I already own? So many questions, so little answers

If anybody knows please let me know.
