Crystal Cove will be back for a longer duration in the future, but we realized we were able to get it done here for the other typical weekend we run it for a much shorter period: Talk Like a Pirate Day! So, yup, shorter availability, but there'll be plenty of time to run it in the future.

A few worlds had to have the NPC re-enabled. Now done! You are looking for Sailor Calatin, located in The Harbor near the docks to the NPC that will take you to Sharn.

I notice that on some items such as The Drowned (orb), the ML16 and ML20 versions have Quality <School> Focus +0, such as Quality Evocation Focus +0 for this orb. It is like that for the acid spellpower item as well. I didn't finish looking through the choices yet to give a full report.

Is it supposed to be +0?

The weirder part is all the new one handed items don't allow me to carry an offhand. Seems very rushed though 2h light mace might be cool for combining 2hf and swash I suppose.

Yeah it looks like all three of the one handers (Hull-Melter, Hull-Wrecker and Ship-Chaplain's Sidearm) are flagged as "Main Hand" not "Main Hand, Off Hand". The Brigand's Cutlass, Cutthroat's Smallblade, Ornamented Dagger and Flotsam are ok on off hand use.

The Level 20 Ornamented Dagger is "Exclusive" still though - because it has a clicky spell effect I guess?

Not that anyone cares but you got me to update the client, log in, and look at the new items.

Should I care about any of this stuff? Is there some upcoming thingamathing that makes magic logs super awesome? I am not seeing a new outfit or flying sea horse or pirate kobold henchman or radioactive death parrot or anything like that. Do the magic logs say stuff like, "Arrrggg! Ye be smited!" or "Ye be walkin into the plank!"?

I guess I can upgrade some old spyglasses and make a few hardcore characters for the tomes before I wander off again. I forgot about all the auctions I left up so signing in saved me a bunch of money and loot. Thanks for that.
