Default New to alchemist. Gear, spells, feats

    Hi guys,

I'm new to the alchemist class as mentioned above. I am on my 7th life and TR'd into alchemist. He's currently level 10 and I'm at 156 spell power in cold and fire. I have taken the accelerate spell feat, quicken feat and maximize feat. I'm focused in fire as my main element and pyrite reaction as my main reaction. Should I be getting any certain gear you can think of named items or so on? Is this where I should be currently at level 10? Suggestions or comments are welcome.

Full build or just pieces of advice?

Pieces of advice is quicker so here it is:

    1. Get Cannith challenge gears for each level bracket. In your case, cloak of flames for fire spell power. Frozen tunic is out of the equation as it competes with beacon of magic set from Ravenloft.

    2. Get wild flame/wild frost from age of rage chain (ML 14 item) as your weapon when you get to it.

    3. Up your conjuration DC by gearing for intelligence (can be done with Cannith crafting), and gearing for conjuration DC (can also be done with Cannith crafting).

    4. Throw multivial at enemies once you are level 12 (just need to update your spell power and DC/INT gear and you are all set. Nothing survives this bad boy).

    5. If you want to zerg and run fast, get falconry sprint. Spell version of the sprint boost is just a more annoying version of it when you don't yet have the points to spare.

    6. Hit smoke screen, hit sprint boost, run and jump past everything. Gather a large amount of mobs once you get red dungeon alert, throw multivial, they die, dungeon alert goes down. Repeat. And you win.

THIS was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thank you so much! I have been out of the game for a bit so just needed to know what direction to head in. Thank you so much once again! Excellent response!
