Default Illusionary Tree for 8 spells?

You badly need to add more illusion spells. There is only around 8 Illusion spells currently in-game, plus maybe a few SLA's from enhancements.

I don't think it's an Illusion spell tree.

I think it's a Cha to hit and Cha damage tree that's missing a trance and has some other stuff in the tree so they can get to 41 points because that's how trees are supposed to work.

I just hope that the Feywild familiars don't have the same bugs/problems as Falconry birds since so much of the actual useful stuff in the tree depends on having the familiar active and at your side.
No one in the world ever gets what they want

One thing they should or could do is add a feat or toggle for all the illusionary versions of current evoc dps spells that is in pnp

Like illusory fireballs etcetera that i could def get into maybe with the am pass or something that used your highest spell power maybe

But using force power so meh it is the absolute worst power in the game and has absolutely no synergy at all with drac which is currently the only caster dps ed

Now on the other hand if they brought back shiradi for casters so that alts and new players were viable again wo needing insane dcs then def sonic and force could make a come back

Until then or Mass pk weird no real point

What bugs/problems with Falconry are you referring to? I just ran a Druid life with Falconry and now that I'm on my Arti life I really wish my Iron defender was half as reliable as my Falcon was.

This exactly. It's by far not a stand-alone tree. This is not VKF or INQ. Most of what's in it is useless to anyone but a Gnome PK. So, it's not even Falconry, most of which is very useful. It's more like Harper.

    • CHA to-hit/dam -- mostly for Bards and Paladins that don't want to be PDK.
    • Illusion DC -- mostly for gnome PKs, but the T5 cost a lot of AP
    • Force-type weapons -- useful if it breaks DR, otherwise pointless
    • Shattermantle & Shadow SLAs -- for gnome PKs

IMHO, it's a tree without flavor to spend as little on as possible and just get a few tidbits for your true build. It would be nice if the stuff enroute to the CHA features wasn't such a waste of AP.

T1 Mage Armor is pointless on cloth or light due to already hitting the MRR cap. T2 Invisibility is similarly pointless unless it's added purely for pure Paladins (anyone else using the tree can cast it cheaper and faster -- should be mass invis and include evasion while invis if they really wanted to help peeps skip traps). T2 Blur is on so much gear (as low as L3), it's superfluous in a tree.

Note, Force weapons don't break DR, but it is a +1 to hit/damage and makes your weapons immune to rust monsters/oozes. For a T1 ability, it seems good enough
