    Default Races by realm?

Been screwing with a lot of battlecleric builds and due to being away for a few years Im not sure which races are from what realm for sake of favored weapons. Also could a bladeforged ever choose another deity say on reincarnation of some type?

    Thanks in advance for info.
When someone ignorant or prejudiced gives their honest opinion that opinion is of no greater value.

Iconics that start the game with Elminster in Wheloon are Forgotten Realms characters, and use Forgotten Realms deities. That set is Purple Dragon Knight, Shadar-kai, Morninglord, Deep Gnome, and Aasimar Scourge.

All non-iconic races, as well as the remaining Iconics (Bladeforged, Tiefling Scoundrel, and the upcoming Razorclaw Shifter) are Eberron races.

Bladeforged are hard-restricted to the Lord of Blades deity; we don't anticipate that changing, sorry.
We don't only build for the builds that exist.
We don't only build for the builds that are good right now.

The fact that some changes are necessary is not diminished by the fact that other necessary changes have not happened yet.

I find it odd and a bit sad that both the divine Iconics are hard-coded into a single Deity selection. Deities are one of the unique class-defining features of Divine classes, yet that choice is taken away.

It'd be like if PDKs could ONLY ever wield longswords.
