Hi, I'm returning to DDO for at least a bit after being gone for years (the free quests brought me back to check it out).
The problem I'm having is that my old main apparently has a badly outdated build. I have a +20 Heart of Wood, so I can redo him now, but I wanted to find something that would work.
The character is warforged, and is currently level 14 on his first TR. His build is the old Soul Survivor, so he's pure FvS, and build for both healing and tanking. The equipment I have now, and sitting in the TR bank, is heavily focused on greatswords and tanky type equipment, with a bunch of spell casting equipment thrown in. His original life was also warforged, so there are plenty of docents for both tanking and spellcasting.
What are some good options for respeccing him for current meta? Obviously he needs to stay warforged, and the best eq he has are greatswords (old stuff, so "best" in this case is greensteel and some fancy specialty blades), so I'd probably want to stick with that. (No epic eq, this was before epic levels were a thing)
I'd also need to stick with no more than 2 classes, unless one is a FvS of course.
Any ideas? I have vague recollections of considering a paladin/sorcerer build that someone was playing with back then, but I'm not sure what I can do with a greatsword wielding warforged now.
