Astral Shard purchase on HardCore instead of Main World

I took advantage of the sale price on Astral Shards but found I made the purchase on my Hard Core world account. Is there any way to move these to Argonnessen as intended?

No, and they will expire on HC if not used before it ends. Your only options are to use them or see if someone on Argo is willing to do a shard transfer which will mean losing 30% to the AH on each side of the trade. You can try and appeal to CS but I am guessing you will not get much help.

If they do not give you any love and I suspect they won't, at least make sure you use the points on HCL server before they expire worthless. At the very least you could gold roll spend them if there is nothing you need on the ASAH.

Be prepared to wait on CS ticket. I've had one open for almost 2 weeks without a peep from them.

I do wish I had understood this better, and I bet a lot of people get burned by it. For a lot of players, HCL is the first time they have seriously played on a server not their main home server, and they never stopped to think if something like astral shard balance, which if you only play on one server seems account-wide, since all your characters can see it, is really per-account per-server.

It is kind of fun to keep an eye on the shard AH for a dream item and splurge on it in a way you never would otherwise, just to keep from losing the shards. Just do it asap, because eventually i assume the shard AH on HCL will clear as HCL winds down everyone else doesn't bother earning shards they can't keep.

I bought 100 on hardcore and turned them into over 400 on the auction house. Then turned them into a month of free gold rolls.

Then I'll transfer the proceeds to my main server.
