So, a couple of weeks ago we had extended downtime after maintenance because stuff was severely broken. Few days later we had restarts, then last week there was more downtime and now this week, woah, who would've thunk it, extended maintenance window. Seriously guys, *** is going on at Data Central? Is there going to be a period of extended playing time, ya know, that time when you get to login to the game and played uninterrupted, ya know without lag, broken chat, blank login screens that you have to alf-f4 and restart, DDO store where I have to relog when I use DDO store for the first time any day, and then have load issues. Are those what you are fixing? Then knock yourself out. Oh wait, nope, none of those things are erased.

Lag is getting so bad on all worlds, we had a complete party wipe due top 5 minute lags, getting ridiculous

The only thing it explains is this game is so old and broken that we can expect more of this in the future.

UI scaling won't be added. Don't kid yourself.

SSG are trapped. They can't afford to fix the countless problems with the game because they need to churn out new content regularly because the heros of the game demand it and won't tolerate waiting an extended time for SSG to deal with the issues. They're scared to lose customers.

Wow, that is very generous. I will suddenly have (the ability to have) more high level characters on Wayfinder than on my usual server.

Well, I suspect this still doesn't make up the losses for a handful of most affected players, but together with the still running event and VIP extension most people will hopefully be fine.

I have 20 characters on Wayfinder. All of them but my main are level 1-3. 20 * 50 Elixirs = someday I'll notice my loot chances have changed slightly but it won't be for a while.

See, this rubbish attitude really gets my goat!

On a downtime, intended at least in part to compensate folks for a previous debacle, they can't do the work in the allocated time, and moreover can't even be bothered to come on the forum to let us know.

So we're left to the good graces of another poster to let us know second-hand. After the deadline has passed.

It's absolutely inadequate customer communication and unacceptable to me. Not nearly good enough at all.

You must know 20-30 minutes before you hit the deadline whether or not you're going to land it on time.

At least have the courtesy to come on here and let us know that.

Because right now it looks like you just don't give a monkey's.
