Any plans to update helmets and hats on Dragonborn?

Hello!

I have a few spare hats that I'd like to run around with on my Dragonborn if possible, and I'm sure that some helmet options would be nice too.

Specifically, I have the "Barovian Aristocrat's Hat", "Vampire Hunter Hat", and the "Brown Wizard Hat" (super important, I assure you!) and would like to be able to use them on my Dragonborn at some point.

There's the dragon eyes from the newcomers quest, but I don't have a picture Oh, and happy first forum post I think a dragonborn's "head" *is* the hat, so to speak. The Hardcore Season 3 see thru winged helmet works on them.

Yeah, I saw that helmet, looks neat! But I'm just looking for options to at least use hats on 'em, since the latest hats from the Sharn pack work on them just fine.

Update since the Halloween event is active now.

None of the cosmetic hats I've purchased (Witch's Hat, Tasty Hams, Death's Smile, Hood of Unrest) are usable on Dragonborn. The only hats that seemingly do anything are the Reaper helmets, and those just give you some glow over your eyes.

This saddens me

EDIT: After some more farming, the Pumpkin Head also does not work on Dragonborn. However, the Vorgouille Wings, Head Spider and Spectral Diadem work just fine on them. Hoping for more!

I can understand this from a standpoint of using only one model for helmets. However, why wouldn't some hats work? The wizard hat just sits on the head, so I don't see any real reason that it can't just rest on the head where it should. Maybe some clipping, I guess, but I personally wouldn't mind that.

There's no real reason its just more work for an artist or animator.

I saw this thread and a funny idea occurred to me. It would be hilarious if the Pumpkin cosmetic helm, which clearly isn't made to fit a dragonborn, instead was a piece of the top of the pumpkin with the stem like a cap, but if they did it just right it would look like the dragonborn tried to force it on and it came apart so all that was left was the top piece. They could even re-use that pumpkin explosion animation from the Smashing Pumpkins quest whenever a dragonborn equipped it.

Years ago, I photoshopped these examples of helms/hats I wished they would make an effort to make usable by Dragonborn:

See, those look pretty good! Though honestly, it just seems ridiculous to not have hats work, since they just rest on your head. It's not like a full helmet or somethin'!

Quite the ignorant statement. SSG made its decision about oversized head races eliminating the head cosmetic years ago, because the juice was not worth the squeeze to support the edge cases. Personally, I think they made the right call. The oversized heads for Dragonborn, Tiefling and Scoundrel look really cool.

I was very pleasantly surprised that the Explorer Hat from The Promise of Fire does show up on a Dragonborn's noggin...and looks pretty cool in my opinion :P

I'm at work so I don't have a pic. There is some minor clipping of my head tines through the brim, which actually looks pretty normal if you crammed a hat on them - helps keep the hat on when the wind is blowing or you're eating a fireball to the face...
