That dragon's acid does absurd amounts of damage, despite 30 acid resists 2 ca. 170 damage hits in about 2 seconds went through, that is after 30 damage being reduced.
That dragon needs to be nerfed.

Avoid it in general. The damage output possibility from dragon is well known.
Or run it on hard, or with a very OP group. B+B doesn't necessarily need a nerf, should there not be a risk of death ever? Should you never expect to go learn about a quest before running it on elite?
But this is well known, the key to HC isn't being especially good, it's knowing the whole game and not taking unnecessary risks. (Maybe that IS being good?) Sometimes go check a quest out on elite on softcore before you plow into it on HC.

Bought my first dungeon master's guide in 1992. My favourite part of ddo is coffee and slayers
This just in...
"Dragons are dangerous! We have film, at 11..."
That's why I play ranged. FVS in HC 1 & 2, ranger in 3. If I'm in melee with a dragon something is terribly wrong.
Mains - Messam, Indalecio, Mozenrath, Quackerjack.
My PM/EK pure wizard melee-tanks those dragons on elite all the time - no problem. Seriously: MRR, PRR, Fortification, and Resist do the job, and Resist isn't that important. My wiz with 74 MRR ran it only last night and not only tanked both dragons but was taking baths in the water.
