    Default Patch from 8/8/20 a.m. will not load

    Hello,

    The patch pushed on my client this morning, Saturday, August 8, 2020 put itself into a constant loop. The end of the loop is an error box, which states, 'Could not patch file "x64/dndclient64.exe", error 5: Access is denied.' When I close the error box, it closes the launcher, restarts the launcher, attempts the patch (I assume) and then displays the error box again.

    I've never had a patching problem before; any suggestions? I have already run the launcher as an administrator with no luck.

    Default Problem solved

    Hello,

    I tried a variety of different things, but the one that seemed to fix the problem was to go into the \tmp\x64 folder to delete the offending file, then reboot, and then relaunch. It patched correctly after the delete, reboot and relaunch.

    Carry on, nothing to see here, citizens.
