I kinda hate how all the 'cool' staves are non-wood and thus can't benefit from shillelagh. Gulthias staff has an awesome graphic but it's terrible
Bought my first dungeon master's guide in 1992. My favourite part of ddo is coffee and slayers
Agreed. This should really be taken into consideration with the introduction of any new staff, as it's one subtle-yet-unique option that leads to more variety. Using a wooden material opens up more build opportunities for Druids and multi-class characters willing to put 1 (or 6) levels into the class to improve the weapon.
100% radical, enthusiasm enthusiast.
"Have you tried preproccing feat directory?"
I want to add Pole-Arms to the weapons table
A specialized exotic class requiring the extra feat. Lances, Awl-Pikes, Halberds, Spears, Fauchards, Naginatas and Lucerne Hammers.
Massive damage, slow attack, two handed weapons *drool*
Imagine the carnage with charge attacks & feats....
Getting away from quarterstaves ...how about an updated Deathnip?
Pretty much still the best Heavy Pick ...
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.
Afraid not. Well I mean it will make a superb cosmetic but, while it sounds and looks cool, it just isn't strong enough for an end game raid wpn.
Don't get me wrong: I LOVE stick builds, but they are underpowered once they outgrow Sireth. This one just isn't enough to make them competitive with other endgame raid weapons.
I can be found on Orien as Cilon
HC7: Typhoon, Dreaded Knight, and Wish. HC6: Naivety. HC5: Who Is Here. HC4: Cylon Centurian. HC3: Soulstone in Your Pack. HC2: Carnage
These items are all quite interesting items, but I'm looking for an answer to the real pressing question here....
When will we get to wield the frying pan that Skinny the miniboss uses in Siegebreaker?
I can wield brooms, broccoli, flowers, garbage can lids, snowballs, books, etc. but not one frying pan greataxe, rolling pin club, or chef hat.
Cannith
Shyalas - Granma - Ralix - Chyalas
Frying Pan Maul, Rolling Pin Club, should be a giant cleaver for a greatsword, maybe a bladed blender looking thing for a great axe? Hmmm I sense a theme. Wasn't there a cooking competition quest that was being bandied about somewhere? With a troll chef? Somewhere deep in the suggestions forum no doubt.
Maybe those gingerbread cookie monsters from the anniversary quest could be in it.
Blood Scented Axe Body Spray (Thelanis)Aelonwy - Wydavir - Metaluscious - Aertimys - Phantastique - Kaelaria - Lunaura - Aelurawynn - Saurscha - Crystalorn - Aurvaeyn - Vaelyns - Wyllowynd
I could even imagine a wooden bucket as a helmet. I've actually seen that in an offline RPG.
Edit : That brought me an idea : What about a certain sound when an enemy hits a steel shield (or steel bucket) ? I mean, that would perhaps become irritating at one point (because too often), but on the other hand it would give us aural indication of when hit ... (making damagine would be a different thing, though ...)

"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"

This, Because it lacks a lot a hum power, give it a x3 critical or an extended critical profile for an easy fix, but the others effects are circunstancial at best. If you want to do something against specific foes or type of enemies ( aka casters) make it that there is nothing that come close in the same level or weapon type that fight that enemy.
