    Default Eldritch Knight Monk?

Hey folks. I was playing with someone today who had a 12 wizard / 6 monk / 2 fighter using handwraps and Grandmaster of Flowers, and was absolutely destroying. Anybody have any idea what build this could be? It looked extremely strong in high reaper content.

Probably would be a very well geared player and using the combo dire charge + eldritch strike/tempest+ whirlwind attack + drifting lotus for aoe dmg to clear packs of enemies, the cores of eldritch knight would give good elemental damage on hit but I dont know if it's better single target dmg than a Kensei monk playing in Fatesinger, although could get self heals from wizard pale master.

On the other hand I've been thinking if it's posible to fit both spell dmg and meele damage in a Wizard 18/monk 2 build using both meteor swarm and acid well and meele dmg with dire charge in fatesinger, would get more elemental damage from cores as well but would have to see if can fit the gear for both elemental damage and meele dmg, (there is a belt, Legendary Burnscar Sash that give both acid and fire spellpower) I wonder if someone has done a meele eldritch knight build around that)

I happen to have one (WF wizard18/monk2) Eldritch Knight and am happy to report that it is a barrel of monkeys to play (video of me fooling around with him getting to know the in's and out's after having LR'd my Pale Master into one with a LR20+ below)

The build is fairly basic, and gearing is pretty simple (I've crafted a couple of trinkets with max elements split up along the lines of the burnscar and it's complementary belt whose name eludes me at the moment) with force maxed out, medium decent wraps and I think I was running in Fatesinger at the time of the video because, well, just because... lol)

I can definitely recommend it, though I hear some mixed reports as to performance in high reaper.

There is an excellent thread on the build under the name of The Mage Knight for a real breakdown and an example of one much better geared and played than what's in the the below video

Thanks for the reply, I think it could be doable even without past lifes (at least if not completely focused on dc), the idea would be meele mainly using the part of the family set with the burnscar belt and the legendary corroded iron figurine for dire charge dc with intelligence + kta, Doctor Vulcana's Broken Wristwatch artifact, Legendary Cloak of the City's Champion (or Legendary Mantle of Fury if don't have doublestrike yet) Legendary Spectre Boots (if don't have the family blessing), Legendary Celestial Ruby Ring (Int), Legendary Celestial Sapphire Ring (const), Legendary Umber Brim for insightful accuracy (Or Attunement’s Gaze +legendary pansophic circlet if spell dc), Legendary dusk lenses for the other spellpower then fill the rest of the stats missing with augments. (Other options are Legendary Deep Promise Onyx if undead form, can craft/use ins. combat mastery boots this way, Legendary clockwork boots if Warforged. Also can switch to Legendary Bottle of Smoke for more dmg on boss fights), If too squishy for some reaper fights at least can do some damage from range with dmg spells hehe.

Weapon Fetters, if don't have Mourninglord, Syranian, Nightmother's Sceptre for spell dc, etc.

Rotation against grouped stunnable trash would be dire charge+ meteor+ eldritch strike/tempest + whirlwind attack (or meteor + dire charge + whirlwind/eldritch+ meteor)
Against non stunnable trash meteor + acid well + eldritch + whirlwind

Against bosses: Rend the soul + Meteor + acid well then full meele with boosts etc
or meteor + meele boosts and cast spells while boosts on cooldown
