HC Takes two lives in one DC

Highly irritated.

I was doing Storm Cleave elite. Was starting the end fight, running across the floor to the Earth Elemental. I was level 12, holding 13 and had not died so I had "Two Loves to Live".

My computer hung. The client closed. I tried to reconnect the client and it hung again.

I killed the client and restarted it. It hung again.

I waited 5 minutes, then killed the client and started again. This time it connected. I logged into the toon for the first time since the original hang, and was in the land of lost souls with a True Death message.

I had a life banked, and one DC/Hang took both lives.

..EDIT and by the way the web browser was working fine while the DDO client wouldn't connect.
