The three main builds on the warlock sub-forum are good:
Pure Casting Build: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...ld-Blast-Build
Tank/Survivability Build: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...mpanion-thread
Leveling Build: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...ng-VIP-Premium
Celestial is viable and probably the best build for soloing right now as you gain a great cc spell soundburst which is especially helpful in reaper mode. The only thing I would suggest differently from these builds is taking maximize and empower as your absolute first spells as they offset some of the weakness warlock has at lower levels by boosting your SLA damage significantly. The combination of Soul Eater and Tainted Scholar (with either as primary tree) is considered your best offensive build. Enlightened Spirit is a great defensive build, but doesn't really gain it's stride until higher heroic levels and epic levels, but does have some nice temporary hit point options available.
If you are comfortable using wands (low levels) and heal scrolls for healing with UMD at heroic levels then soul eater/tainted scholar is probably the best to play during heroic level with any pact. At epic levels being in exalted angel with cocoon twist is really great self healing.
At level 30 I prefer enlightened spirt right now because saves are super high in Sharn and if you don't have alot of experience playing warlock you have to figure out which spells will land on which enemies, etc. and this takes time/experience. So using cc (mostly enchantment in sharn) with soundburst as a backup against some mobs and then killing them with dps is a playstyle that work in any content. However, either soul eater/tainted scholar or enlighted spirit/tainted scholar will work fine at level 30 depending on your preference (instakill vs. burst blasting - but instakill is much harder to play but with a higher ceiling in terms of character strength). I would recommend burst blasting unless you have alot of experience with death spells already.
