Killed By Client Crash and game forgot I had a spare life!

So in the GH wilderness and client freezes. Locks up whole PC and have to restart. Go away and make tea for 10 mins to make sure all process up and running again and log back in to find I'm in Lost Souls.

I get that game may have been running still on SSG's servers and toon dies in the midst of the gnolls before PC was shut down, but I had a life to spare! Where's that gone? Level 15 (16 in the bank and had the "2 lives to live" icon) and 1700 odd favor.

Can't raise an in-game ticket.

Not sure if I have the heart to bother any more...

Exactly why I've always refused to pay for HCL. They implemented extra lives to save people when they lag-wipe, and they can't even get that right. gg

Quoting the HCL description:

There is no exception made for the cause of death, whether it be in combat, falling, an Internet outage, playing the last section of The Shroud, or any other reason

Customer service will not be helping people get out of quests they are not able to complete due to a bug or other issue.

"Internet outage" is their PC way of saying "lag due to our poor servers and decrepit client." The devs don't play their own game, but even they realize that it's plagued with lag and other bugs. And no customer service? Not sure what you're paying for then.

Sorry to say it, but you're probably SOL.

Man, that really sucks. I have been hearing similar stories.

Lynn? Sev? Any Dev? The extra life should be changed at once to where the player has to confirm/click on a button to use the extra life. This nonsense where the game client automatically uses it and keeps you in the same place to die over and over again needs to stop.

Same, just happened to me too. PC crashed, still had extra life, came back, both lives gone

Same thing happened here. My computer took Bluescreen of DEATH way too literally and killed me twice.
