hardcore down?

I believe so, I was in the middle of a quest when it booted me. Now I cannot enter on any of my characters.

Just a minute ago...

"Your character has been booted from the server"... and right in the middle of a brawl!

Edit:
Reconnected to the Character Selection screen, but...

"The character could not be placed in the world, or the game server is currently down...".

So... yeah. :/

I was booted from the world jusrt about to loot a chest, Hardcore was listed as down.

Now it's back up.

Appears to be the case. Connection timeout and now I can't seem to log back in again. Unfortunate.

Luckily I just finished the quest I was on when it happened, so I'm not at risk of dying, but I imagine this will cause quite a few deaths oô

Same here. Had a lot of lag yesterday, for the first time since I started playing on hardcore, before that it was all very smooth. I wonder if that's connected, possibly too heavy a load on the server.

Same here - it says I am in the Harbor at least but I am wondering if my "Extra Life" will be gone.

Edit - My alt that was, quite literally, in the middle of a large brawl is fine. Not sorry to disappoint.

Seems this was not "lag" related, but a hard, instantaneous crash. ~Ole!~


Edit - However, upon re-entering, it seems that the hireling now has the Party Leader star. Now that is interesting.

In what way is the word "interesting" disappointing? Would not this information be interesting to other players? I was even unsure whether my own toon survived, so this was definitely "interesting" to me.
