Will Season Pass holders get anything more this year?

So, I'm happy that new players are coming to DDO in part thanks to the coupon for all of the current adventure packs.

That being said, I can't help but feel a bit ripped-off because one of the reasons I bought the Season Pass was essentially to pre-order the adventure packs that came out during that time. Now everyone can get those packs for free anyway, it feels like it wasn't money well spent.

There are a lot of other great things that came out with the Season Pass, but it still stings.

Not trying to be an angry, demanding player or anything, but is there any chance that Season Pass holders might get something else before the year runs out?

Well, you lost content in a certain time frame like every other player who paid for that.

The Lost Gatekeepers - now free
Alchemist - still valid
Keeep of the Borderlands - now free
The Soul Splitter - now free
(I hope, I didn't miss anything).

Is that really that bad? In my opinion that is not a big deal. You might see it differently though.
And this whole Covid-19 business might have slowed down production. So maybe lobby for 2 month extension of your pass. That would be a reasonable deal, imo.

On the other hand premium paid for all of this and lost all of it. There won't be any compensation for premium at all. To take that into account I think you still have a good deal, if you felt like season pass had a good value from the start.

Paying 50% more than VIP should get some kind of additional perk beyond the Daily Dice in my opinion. Especially since "you'll end up permanently owning more than an equivalent VIP" was touted as a selling point.

It was never a good deal under the best of circumstances. To others, it was. I'd agree there is a decent argument to be made that the season pass folks should get something extra, but then, I thought the deal was bad to begin with.

This is how I feel as well.

The pandemic wasn't on anyone's radar when the Season Pass was offered. I do not fault SSG one iota for their generosity during this time of global duress, even if it diminishes what I thought I was buying when I picked up the Pass. In a game where people are always screaming at the Devs to find a way to expand the player-base, I think this was the best possible way of doing so - again, even if it diminishes my purchase. If we get a boost to the player base - we all win. I still get my Silver Dragon armor that I use on most of my alts, I still get daily gold rolls on every server, I got a two-year VIP subscription and all the benefits therein, and I get to keep what was released during that time if I go back to Premium. It's not a bad deal, even if it has been diminished mildly by a really outstanding display of niceness during a global pandemic.

I am still glad I got the Pass. If it's financially possible for me to buy it again - if it's offered again - I will.

It was my understanding that the Lost Gatekeepers is not included in the freebie code because it's not available for points yet. That said, yeah, most of the bonuses that Season Pass holders have gotten have been eroded- it's not that we don't get VIP as well, but it's that our additional bonus (keeping that content of which a significant portion of is free) got sliced to ribbons, while the things we have gotten have been available for VIPs too- which, while I don't mind the freebies or the VIP boosts, it certainly isn't anything particularly special. Considering that the Season Pass is a pretty big chunk more than a VIP subscription, at least a token gesture to Season Pass holders might be nice.

Realistically they don't owe us anything.

At this point they are probably looking at ways to incentive the next season pass (assuming they are happy with results of the original pass).

Providing a perk for people that buy the season pass a second time (maybe some bonus points or potions) would be a thought.

I'm looking forward to buying the season pass again. So many +7 tomes from the gold rolls over the past year and a half.
