Default Heroic Version Of Iconic Races Please

Bladeforged and Shadar-kai are favorites of mine, however you must use +1 lesser hearts to remove the mandatory level.

Please release a heroic version of Iconic races so we can start at level 1 with them and not have to Iconic reincarnate, their trees are too fun!

Also, selling them for 5000 DDO points each would be justified

Can't see this being that likely to be implemented due to the design philosophies behind them.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

    No. Just no.

    1) Iconics are already heroic toons. They start at 15
    2) The point of Iconics is you get all the extra and unique bits because they are special. Deal with it. You can always play them from level 1. If that takes a heart then that is the price.

In my opinion, DDO needs Iconics at level ... 5, or at level 10. Level 15 is far too high for a player who wishes to begin in Korthos, for example.

Why ? Because in my opinion, Iconics are perfect for Newbies : They come with everything needed AND show the new player the path into which direction this character is levelling.

This is NOT multiclassing, this is NOT builds with several past lives, this is NOT min-maxing ! These are things limited to those who are playing the game so long that nothing is hidden bofore them anymore.

The complete Newbie, on the extreme other side of the scale, knows NOTHING. Except for those who already know the pen & paper rules and (therefore ?) love experimenting,
apart from those, the complete Newbie who has never played an (A)D&D game before needs serious hand-holdingdue to the massive amount of information trying to overwhelm that newbie. And most players here won't even understand what I mean because of their curse of knowledge.

The argument "you can always play at level 1" isn't a good argument because of that, because it speaks from the position of a long-time player who just isn't able to make any failures in levelling anymore. Again, curse of knowledge.
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"

The Heroic version of Bladeforged is called Warforged.

Or are you trying to say you want all the advantages of BF without the disadvantages? If you're just some random Warforged who is not a Paladin of the Lord of Blades, why is he going to zap you through his Creation Forge and give you extra special powers?

Warforged don't get Reconstruct SLA. For that matter, regular gnomes don't get Phantasmal Killer SLA like Deep Gnomes.

We can get rid of the initial class on Iconics with an LR +1 and we can start at level 1 on Hardcore. It shouldn't be too hard to get rid of the initial class restriction entirely. I.e., SSG found a workaround for the other supposedly "hard-coded" restrictions on Iconics, so why not get rid of the last one too? The real question would be: what does SSG get out of "liberating" Iconics like this, other than pleasing players like the OP?

They do not get a reconstruct SLA in which is what it is all about. If the Warforged race got a Reconstruct SLA added to their tree they would be superior if such were added to the right place. Because of the Repair SLA, Bladeforged make an amazing race option for several classes that otherwise struggle with decent self-heal options.

How did you not understand that by heroic what was meant "Can use a heroic true heart of wood"?

Because you were unspecific. "Heroic" refers to levels 1-19 in DDO. At level 20 levels become "Epic".

No, heroics traditionally start at level 1 and use Heroic Hearts of wood for reincarnation, if I was not specific enough you should have asked rather than arrogantly assuming.

So... you're willing to pay 5k for "heroic version" but you don't want to pay 1k for +1 heart? Remaining points you can spend on xp potions or otto box if you add few more points and you can do 20-30 in day or two. :P

Saving money on alignment changes and +1 lesser hearts of wood is precisely why this should sell for at least 5K DDO points
