Favor Issue

Hey,

Assuming the wiki is still up to date, a new first-time character on a new server should receive bonus points at 5, 25, 50, 100, etc. favor. So I made a new character on a server I've never played on and didn't receive the mail/favor for achieving 5 favor...only the 25/50/100. Is this working as intended or can someone help me out? Thanks.

I did that prior to submitting my post here. They both show credit for 3 amounts, but not the 4th.


*Just made a new first-time character on a new server and received the bonus points for that character at 5 favor...so I'm definitely missing them on the originally referenced character.

ah wait, i'm sorry. i just noticed, afaik, the progression is 5, 25, 50, 500, and then 1k, 2k, 3k, etc. been a long time since i did this, i may be wrong, but the wiki also state this https://ddowiki.com/page/Favor#DDO_Points

at 100 there's only the regular 25 points every 100 favor, no special one-time reward, afaik.

maybe, can this be the issue?

Err, well, no. The missing bonus points that never came were at 5 favor. They appropriately came, with the mailed letter, at 25, 50, and 100.

As long as you are sure that is your first toon ever on that server, I would definitely send in a ticket. I would think it should be fairly easy for them to see the history of your account on that server and fix any error on something like that. There must be a digital paper-trail, or lack thereof.

It may be possible that you made a toon a year or two ago, got the 5 favor award, deleted, and forgot about it...I had forgotten about a couple of toons from years ago that I ran to 50 favor and deleted. Went to farm some favor and... nothing.

It would be nice if they added a "Highest Total Favor on This Server" bar on the favor page.

Nope. I play with 2 friends on Argo. We have our 3-man guild there from over a decade ago. It's the only server we've ever used, except when the anniversary event happened where they let people make level 10's briefly, which I did on one other server (not the one in question).

The DDOStore tracks those things.
Upper right corner where your account name is, clicking your name makes a drop-down menu appear. Click on History and you should see every favor reward since Summer of 2015. The 5 point one is a +50 and should stick out. the 500 point one is also a +50 but because it's a multiple of 100, it's also a +25 so you should see a +50 and a +25 awarded at the same time.

If you can search your history and can't find a +50 reward, send a ticket.

Yes. Yes it does. Although it only shows the amount earned, not which server or by which character. A ticket was sent about a week ago, where it showed a wait time of 19 hours. Hence my posting here. Thanks for the replies everyone. I think this thread is as confirmed as it can get, now if we could just find a DDO response somewhere...
