    Default Tier 1 twists?

    Hi All,

trying to maximize all 5 of my twists. My combo allows for twist 4 and 5 to both be Tier 1, and one of those slots is for Legendary tactics (since I run in GMOF). That leaves 1 more tier 1 slot, and I wanted to get your opinion on which you would take.

    couple of quick metrics:

All saves are 90+ and 100+ in reaper
    Fortification is 290%

    I am down to either:
Brace for impact: 40% fort and +2 to all saves (not sure I need this)
Purge the wicked: looks like it would be helpful
I don't need cocoon since I run as an aasimar
I use action boosts, and have 8 available, so maybe extra cation boost?

Just looking for a fellow monks take on this.

    Thanks!
    Nico

Extra action boost is pretty good. Having more boosts also helps from a "I should save my boosts for when they are really needed" perspective and instead be more "Hey I used all my boosts this quest and made it go faster and smoother".

I am really leaning towards this as well. I can always flip for more defense for higher reapers. I mean, 3 more on too of 8 is almost 50% more. Cant go wrong with 3 more.

You don't mention what enhancement trees you took, so some of the things I use may not help.

    • If you are doing Falconry and making use of bird attacks, Stealthy from Shadowdancer is a must.
    • If you're using Stunning attacks, Finishing Moves, or special attacks from monk enhancements like the Jade attacks -- in other words, if you're a monk -- Legendary Tactics from Legendary Dreadnought is a must. Stunning is considered a tactical feat, and stunning DCs benefit from tactical DC boosts, not just stunning boosts.
    • Since you're in GoF, Magister's Unearthly Reactions may seem a little redundant with GoF's Ubiquity, but I like to get my Dodge as high as possible.
    • As you're no doubt aware, Draconic's Energy Sheath is sometimes crucial for elemental damage mitigation, like Riding the Storm Out.
    • If you're a fist or TWF monk using any helpless attacks, Primal Avatar's t3 Balanced Attacks is useful (I know, you asked for t1 twists, but some people overlook this one).

As I said, these are my go-to twists, not counting Caccoon.
