But in the video you do
Class Skills (1 point per rank)
    Balance: 4
    Bluff: 4
    Disable Device: 4
    Haggle: 4
    Jump: 4

    Concentration: 2 (4) --- INSTEAD OF 1.5 (3)
    Heal: 1 (2) ---INSTEAD OF 2 (4)

I did the video version, but someone might use the forum version, and I don't know what effect this will have on their character.

Only noticed as I was creating another character for favor run. And although you said pure pally or barbarian was maybe better. I really don't know what stats and feats and stuff to pick with them. If you could let me know what to pick with them, I will try it out with future favor runs.
So I am reusing the 2thief/pally build.
Thank you! I updated the level 1 and 2 thread to reflect what was in the video. The first few levels I was going from memory and then did a better job matching up with the video starting @ level 3.

For the human pure paladin favor character are

    1: Two-handed fighting
1 human: Dragonmark of passage (mainly for the 3 expeditious retreat clickies as I am not re-running any quests for gear)
    3: Weapon Focus Slashing

Stats are slightly different with no trapping skills

    Str: 16
    Dex: 14
    Int: 8
Wis: 8 (no need for spell-casting)
    Con: 14
    Cha: 14

I used the paladin/rogue build (same build I am using for this thread) on hardcore.

    The Restless Isles
Hiding in Plain Sight - R1
Slavers of The Shrieking Mines - R1
Bring Me The Head of Ghola-Fan! - Elite

    Marketplace
    The Chronoscope - Hard

    Most Difficult Quests I ran
Reclamation R1: 2 Reapers At The End Fight Area made it impossible to drag a small group out to the shrine area. I recovered after a wipe.
Hiding in Plain Sight R1: 1 Reaper aggro'd a large mob in an area where there is usually a very small fight
Slavers of the Shrieking Mines R1: Had to release my hireling and go back to the start to re-summon when he was out of spell points well before the shrine
Anything with Plague Reapers: These are my #1 enemy - more lethal than carnage reapers and famine reapers at this level. The healing debuff combined with being slowed is tough to overcome unless they are stunned. The stun proc from Censure Outsiders is very helpful with reapers, however, it's only a 5% chance each hit so it can't be relied on.

    Notable items earned
Flightfoot Greaves (Freedom of Movement, Speed +20%, +7% attack speed, Natural Armor +6, Reflex +5, +1 Mythic Bonus
Mist-Laden Vestment (Light Armor: Fortification 77%, Parrying +2, Physical Sheltering +14, Profane Well Rounded +1, Mythic Boost +2)
20 Vitality (stacking 20 hp) augment extracted from Minos Legens Tapestry turn-in (extracted with jeweler's toolkit from daily silver roll)
Ratcatcher (critical range 18-20, critical multiplier x3 light crossbow - saved for a future inquisitive build)
Cold Absorb 21%, Poison Resistance 23 ring (auction house purchase)

    - Improved Recovery
    - Human Adaptability: Strength
    - Awareness (+1 spot, search and listen per rank) x2 (NEW)
    - Great Weapon Aptitude x3 (NEW 2 additional ranks)

    Plan for Upcoming Level
    - Run at least half of level 11 quests on Reaper 1 and the rest on Elite
    - Run level 12 quests on Normal + Hard
    - Start looking for an updated gear set since most of my items are level 7-8

    Notable For New Level
    - DPS improvements from greater two-handed fighting feat + 15% more strike through from human tree

    Reaper Update
My original plan for life one was to get about 100,000 reaper points with 1/3 coming from heroic leveling and 2/3 coming from level 30 first-time runs. I've already exceeded the original heroic goal, but have probably run some quests on reaper that should be run on elite for a newer player - including Reclamation, Slavers of the Shrieking Mines and Hiding In Plain Sight at this level. Total reaper xp: 41,027

Always keep in mind that this plan is customizable. If you find reaper too difficult drop back to elite @ 4 levels over for heroic leveling. If you find elite @ 4 levels over too difficult drop back to 6 levels over for elite. You will get significant reaper experience at level 30 running R4 with a group so there is no need to worry about reaper progress if you find it too difficult. Another option is try a few easier quests on reaper each level and run the rest on elite.

    DDO Point Update
    100-favor run on 7 servers: 875
    500-favor on Hardcore: 275
    2300-favor on main server: 925
Menace of the Underdark Expansion Purchase: -99
    The Shadowfell Conspiracy Purchase: -99
    Shared Bank Purchase: -1121
    Grand Total: 756

Favor Earned This Level: 362 (2390 total)
DDO Points Earned This Level: 75 (standard bonus for earning 2100, 2200 and 2300 favor on a character)

    Other Notes
I started breaking down items for essences in the crafting hall part-way through this level. At the time I had roughly 1,300 essences from chests. I earned nearly 1,000 essences from breaking down items. Moving forward I will break down items for essences when time permits.

Although I ran the entire Necro III chain on Elite with a party, I would only recommend soloing Tomb of the Blighted and Tomb of the Unhallowed.

Level 13 Constitution +6 Deathblock Light Armor - was looking for something like this for a few levels

    Most Difficult Quests I ran
The Chamber of Raiyum : This is mostly due to the server problems. I died to due to lag and then had 2 big lag spikes, but somehow managed to complete successfully.
The Last Vintage: Died to a mob of vine creatures, but managed to recoup and complete successfully

Default Questing @ Level 17 and Taking Level 18

The following quests were run at level 17:

    Inspired Quarter / Twelve
    Assault on Summerfield - R1
    Blockade Buster - Elite
    Undermine - Elite
    Siegebreaker - Elite
    Mired in Kobolds - R1

    Gianthold
    Feast or Famine - R1
    Trial By Fire - R1
    Maze of Madness - R1
    A Cry For Help - R1
    Foundation of Discord - R1

    Amrath
    The Archon's Trial - Elite
    Demon Assault - Elite
    The Devils' Details - R1

    Most Difficult Quests I ran
The Devil's Details: Both my hireling and I ran into spell point issues - in part due to my pathing but it was a very spell-point intensive quest in general due to the higher damage compared to gianthold

Gnollish Warbow - Crippling, Feat: Bow Strength, +5, can be upgraded with crafting

    Reaper Update
    Total reaper xp: 51,871

Always keep in mind that this plan is customizable. If you find reaper too difficult drop back to elite @ 4 levels over for heroic leveling. If you find elite @ 4 levels over too difficult drop back to 6 levels over for elite. You will get significant reaper experience at level 30 running R4 with a group so there is no need to worry about reaper progress if you find it too difficult. Another option is try a few easier quests on reaper each level and run the rest on elite.

    DDO Point Update

Favor Earned This Level: 75 (2950 total)
DDO Points Earned This Level: 25 (standard bonus for earning 2900 favor on a character)

Note: The warforged purchase means I will have to delay purchasing epic destines until I earn 3,800 favor but I think it was worth the trade-off.

Default Questing @ Level 18 and Taking Levels 19 and 20

Through level 16 I always ran reaper quests 4 levels above (-10% xp) and normal/hard quests 3 levels above. For levels 17 and 18 I was focused on getting to 20 as soon as I had the xp as opposed to running all quests at a certain level range.

The reason for this is that there is a reaper level lock-out once your character reaches 20. Once you reach 20 you are unable to run level 19 and below quests on reaper mode. So my choice was to hold 18/19 and run as many of those quests on reaper as possible or advance to 20 and run those same quests on elite instead.

I opted to advance to 20 and run the remaining heroic quests on elite. The reason I did this is the amount of reaper xp is small compared to running reapers at level 30 (which will be done later). As a first-life character my gear is also not optimal and I didn't want to spend significant time farming heroic gear on top of running all these quests. Instead I want to focus on a level 21 gear set based mostly on keep on the borderlands named items - these quests are short and some are available from the wilderness.

Also running quests @ 19 I earn 0 xp. Running quests at 20 results in reduced xp, but at least I am getting something that will move me closer to 21 and eventually 22 while finishing off these heroic quests.

Also, my original plan involved getting epic destines immediately at 20, but I decided to take advantage of the shared bank and warforged sales which means I won't be able to purchase epic destinies until I finish the level 16 quests and a few favor clean-up quests. It's ok in the long-run this will make a very small difference, but unfortunately it delays posting my epic destiny video by several days. I will focus on the 14/15/16 normal + hard runs needed to open elite until I get epic destines as they generally provide much less xp - that way I will be earning epic destiny xp for my elite runs.

The following quests were run at level 18:

    Gianthold
Madstone Crater - Normal + Hard
The Prison of the Planes - Normal + Hard
A Cabal For One - Normal + Hard
Gianthold Tor - Normal + Hard

    Gatekeeper's
Tavern Brawl - Normal + Hard
Grim and Barrett - Normal + Hard
    Subversion - Normal + Hard
Multitude of Menace - Normal + Hard

    House Jorasco
Night Falls on Stormreach - Normal + Hard
    Quarantine - Normal + Hard
The Madness of Crowds - Normal + Hard
The Age of Rage - Normal + Hard
Toxic Treatment - Normal + Hard

    Most Difficult Quests I ran
NA - as my plan was to take 20 as soon as possible I only ran normal and hard at this level and will complete the elite runs at level 20 (can't run reaper due to level lock-out)

    Notable items earned
Unbreakable Stormreach Guardian's Helm - Constitution +7, Vitality 24, Fortitude 6, Fortification 90%, trace of madness (upgradable)

Default Level 20 and the Path Forward - Planning for Reaching 30

Once I reach level 30 I plan to run numerous level 30+ quests on Reaper 4 skull to significantly increase my reaper xp and then reincarnate back to level 1. Specifically I plan to epic reincarnate with an Ancient Power primal life (+2 attack and damage with two-handed fighting plus a hit point bonus). I also plan a true reincarnation for the paladin heroic past life (+10 healing amplification).

To accomplish this I will need 20 tokens of the twelve, 42 heart seeds and I will need 6,000,000 destiny experience in the primal sphere. I also need a very solid level 21 gear set which should get me through most of my epic leveling. In addition, I would like to accumulate as many +3 skill tomes as possible, but this is a secondary consideration.

I can get tokens of the twelve from the following quests:

    • Epic House Cannith Challenges
    • Epic Red Fens
      • The Last Stand
      • The Claw of Vulkoor
      • Into the Deep
      • Fathom the Depths

    • Epic Vault of the Night Quests
      • Tharashk Arena
      • Prison of the Mind
      • The Jungle of Khyber
      • Haywire Foundry

    • Epic Stormreach Sentinel Quests
      • Bargain of Blood
      • The Black Loch
      • Spies in the House
      • Storm the Beaches
      • The Tide Turns

    • Epic House Phiarlan Quests
      • A Small Problem
      • The Snitch
      • Partycrashers
      • Under the Big Top]

    • Epic Sands Quests
      • An Offering of Blood
      • The Chamber of Raiyum
      • The Chains of Flame

    • Other
      • Devil Assault
      • The Lords of Dust
      • Servants of the Overlord
      • The Spinner of Shadows

I will not have to worry about heart seeds as running the level 30+ quests at level 30 will get me way more seeds than I need.

For Sagas I will automatically get saga rewards for Sharn, Shard COGS Dungeons and Ravenloft. In addition, I would like to get at least 2 of the Eveningstar sagas, but ideally all 5. This would give me 5-8 chances to get skill tomes and I would likely bank all sagas until I review my choices and options.

So this means I would likely be running the following as I level up

Level 20-22: Heroic Clean-up and Keep on the Borderlands
Level 23-29: Quests dropping tokens of the twelve and Eveningstar quests, with some re-runs of keep on the borderlands as needed for gear
Level 30: Level 30+ Reapers including Ravenloft and Sharn

Also, since I am not sure about the timing of getting the Ravenloft and Sharn expansions I will want to make sure I get any level 30 gear I need before I TR. If you enjoy the game once you reach 30 and have some discretionary money I would encourage you purchase both of these expansions from the DDO market which saves you from having to earn 5,000 points but also automatically upgrades you from free-to-play to premium, providing many benefits explained here: https://ddowiki.com/page/Premium_Account including extra character slots and removal of auction house and platinum limits.

From an epic destiny perspective I plan to start with unyielding sentinel and advance to tier 4, then move over to Grandmaster of Flowers and advance to tier 3, then move over to Legendary Dreadnought and advance to tier 4 and then move over to Shiradi Champion and advance to level 3 and then move over to Primal Avatar and advance to tier 2 and then move over to Fury of the wild and advance to tier 5 and use that as my level 30 reaper epic destiny so I can get the primal past life I want. This should all work out fine even with my delay in purchasing epic destinies. I need to cap one primal destiny to take perfect two-handed fighting so that is a priority by at least level 29 and preferably before level 28. I need 3 capped martial destinies to take dire charge so I won't be able to take that this life unless I hold at 28 while gaining alot of epic xp to cap martial destinies. Holding 28 is definitely a strong possibility so I can go into my level 30 reapers at max strength. It also works out great with my plan to farm slave lords gear.

A stretch goal would be to earn 5 greater tokens of the twelve to craft my 5% experience augment which would require running Epic Chronoscope, Epic Plane of Night, Epic Zawabi's Revenge, Epic Master Artificer or Epic Lord of Blades

Congratulations on the DDO Chronicle mention

I apologize if this was mentioned in one of your earlier posts, but should I be leveling up the alt account character created for opening the Necropolis quest past Level 3. Are there any future quests that will require having four people?

    Thank you!

You definitely want to keep one bank account character @ min level 3 and no higher than 7 for that quest because it can't be solo'd otherwise and it's a bank character that can hold at least 5k plat for you when you TR @ level 3 and up to 80,000 at level 7.

Leveling up a bank character with you will slow you down, but then you have the advantage of having an extra looter for any quest where you are looking for an item. I didn't recommended it since this build is designed for new free-to-play players and I didn't want to overwhelm new folks with the idea of trying to level up an alt account character at the same time, but I wanted to introduce the concept a little.

With that said it's up to you once you are comfortable enough with the game to consider having a second character with you in some quests - I wouldn't bother if it takes any enjoyment away from the game - this game shouldn't feel like a job. I would only do it if you plan to solo as it's generally bad form to bring a second account character to a group.

A few advantages of leveling up a banking character with you when soloing:
    - Extra chances for loot in key quests. In quests where you don't need anything there is no need to move the character beyond the entrance in most cases. Getting your bank character a horse makes travel between quests easier.
    - Having a character at level 13 holds the maximum amount of platinum so you have a place to offload your gold before TR'ing if you are fully free-to-play and have the platinum limit (any purchase that upgrades you to premium permanently removes this limit)
    - Having a character with the raise dead spell or UMD to use raise dead scrolls gives you an opportunity to recover from a wipe in reaper mode in most cases rather than having to restart - this gives you the opportunity to take more risks with skull level
    - Your bank character will accumulate power at the same time (experience and reaper points) so if you want to create an alt character, a second account character is ideal for solo players because both characters accumulate power at the same time.
    - Your alt can buff you depending on the class. For example if you have a bard as your bank character you can give yourself blur and other buffs and bards have UMD for raise scrolls.
    - If you don't want to splash trapping you can have your alt account character focus on trapping and use as needed for the bad traps

If you only want to bring a character to loot the chest for extra chances occasionally (generally higher heroic and epic levels) having characters "permanently stuck" (i.e., don't level them up even if at max sp) at the following level ranges is a good idea and you can use as needed:

20: Allows you to loot a chest for any epic/legendary quest in the game and heroic elite level 18/19 quests with no xp penalty
15: Allows you to loot a chest from level 13-19 with no xp penalties for your main character

With this approach you only have to deal with dual leveling one time and then the character is available to use as needed for extra looting (generally newer content).

I am not encouraging or discouraging it - just want to make sure people know it's an option that can help if it doesn't take enjoyment away from the game, but at a cost of extra time to level the character on the alt account at least the one time. Also, even if you don't plan to do this I would at least get 200 favor on your bank characters to get the expansion packs just in case you change your mind after getting more experience. It only requires you to get 5 favor (3 korthos quests on normal) on 4 different servers with your bank accounts to earn 200 points to purchase those expansion packs.

Of course as new packs come out those will cost DDO points, but just leveling one character to 20 once with your main character will get you alot of DDO points. Alt server runs to 100 will get you even more quick points. You can save those points for new packs that have really good loot.

Also you don't have to level up both characters at the same time. You could simply treat those as alts and focus on one character at a time if the idea of having a second character tagging along isn't appealing - then you can run both in the same quest only as needed.

Thank you so much for your advice. I was actually using the alt character to test a build idea I had for my main account.

I first used your character build, but I found it was hard to find the proper light armor from random loot and I was wearing armor that negated the evasion from Rogue. So, I decided to try a pure THF Paladin, but found not having the ability of trap finding and disabling difficult. So, the character I was doing with my alt was an idea I had for a 19 Ranger/1 Rogue Tempest Ranger. 1 level of Rouge for trap finding and I get evasion at Level 9 from Ranger. And my random loot matches my character. Stats on Elf 28 points are:

    Str: 8
    Dex: 18
    Con: 14
    Int: 12
    Wis: 12
    Cha: 8

I get enough skill points for Search, Spot, Disable Device, Heal, and Open Lock. I think I'm going to go with this on my main account since I am having a lot of fun with it. Don't know if it can do Reaper 1, but I am fine with sticking with elite on my first life. I unlocked 1750 Favor on the Paladin, so I can create a 32point build at veteran status (Level 4). I have one month of VIP left so I can get favor and level up pretty quickly. I'm hoping I can reach epic levels before my VIP membership expires August 31.

Also, I'm on Sarlona too. Is your guild recruiting at all, cause I would be happy to join with this Ranger/Rogue I am creating.

That sounds like a fun build! If you can pm me your character name I will make sure you get an invite mailed to you. I am calling it a day so it will likely be tomorrow when I mail it.

Default Questing @ Level 20 and Taking Level 21

This level was all about catching up on heroic quests now that I am locked out of running level 19 quests and below on reaper mode. I still have quite a few heroic quests to finish up at 21 and plan to hold 21 until I am either done with heroics or reach 1,950,000 epic xp whichever happens first. I am not currently feeling any pain from missing epic destines since I am still wrapping up heroic quests, but am looking forward to buying Epic Destinies before running Keep on the Borderlands on either Reaper or Elite. I will have the points by Monday, but will wait until the Thursday sale before purchasing just in case it goes on sale this final week of July Summer Sales.

The following quests were run at level 20:

    Necropolis
Desecrated Temple of Vol - Normal + Hard
Inferno of the Damned - Normal + Hard

    Harbor, Marketplace and The Twelve
Lost at Sea -Normal + Hard
Acid Wit - Normal + Hard
    Delirium - Normal + Hard
    Missing - Normal + Hard
    Sinister Storage -Normal + Hard
Fear Factory - Normal + Hard
In The Flesh - Normal + Hard
Tower of Frost - Normal + Hard

    Sharn
    A Sharn Welcome - Normal + Hard
Red Rain - Normal + Hard
Best Laid Plans - Normal + Hard
The Same Old Song - Normal + Hard
Just Business - Normal + Hard
No Refunds - Normal + Hard
House of Pain - Normal + Hard
Blown Deadline - Normal + Hard
Reach For The Sky - Normal + Hard
Ruinous Schemes - Normal + Hard
The Wraithcallers - Normal + Hard
Thralls of the Fungus Lord - Normal + Hard
Scavenger Hunt - Normal + Hard
The Magma Must Flow - Normal + Hard
Roll Call - Normal + Hard
Security Detail - Normal + Hard
Smash and Burn - Normal + Hard

The Vale of Twilight / Meridia
Rainbow in the Dark - Normal + Hard
Ritual Sacrifice - Normal + Hard
The Coalescence Chamber - Normal + Hard
Running with the Devils- Normal + Hard
Let Sleeping Dust Lie - Normal + Hard
Creeping Death - Normal + Hard
To Curse the Sky - Normal + Hard

    Most Difficult Quests I ran
NA - as I ran only level 14-16 quests on normal/hard as part of my heroic level clean-up which will continue through level 21. I did mange to get my brain eaten by a mind flayer in Thrall of the Fungus Lord on Hard so I guess that qualifies.

    Notable items earned
Epic Sworn Silver Great Sword - 3[2d6] base damage, silver, unnatural bane (undead, aberrations, monstrous humanoids), Destruction, Righteous - From Keep on the Borderlands Wilderness Chest (crafting materials)
Min level 20 - Constitution +9, Vitality 31, Insightful Fortification 46% Light Armor - Auction House
Wildcard - Min Level 15 Light Armor - 94% Fortification, Physical Sheltering 19, Healing Amplification 30, False Life 29
Pendant of The Warrior's Focus - Min Level 15 Necklace, Insightful Combat Mastery 3, Insightful Doublestrike 3%, Armor Piercing 12%, Insightful Fortitude Save +2
Sunstone Gauntlets - Min Level 15 Gloves - Insightful Physical Sheltering 9, Devotion 94, Healing Lore 14%, Wizardry 154
Large Ingredient Bag (Twelve Favor Reward)

    Video support (playlist): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...1Gic_-E_MgW37r

    Leveling Up to 21

    Level Up Stat: None
    Feats: Overwhelming Critical

No changes to enhancements - although I am considering taking 3 ranks of Shieldbreaker in Knights of the chalice in place of something else to boost my Holy Retribution for Epic/Reaper Keep on the Borderlands

    Plan for Upcoming Level
    - Run heroic quests on normal, hard, elite
    - Start working on level 21 gear set
    - Earn 3800 favor so I can purchase epic destinies

    Notable For New Level
    - This will be a slower level as I have many heroic quests to run prior to reaching 22. I also will be waiting until Thursday to purchase epic destinies so progress may be slowed until then.

    100-favor run on 7 servers: 875
    600-favor on Hardcore: 300
    3400-favor on main server: 1,300
Menace of the Underdark Expansion Purchase: -99
    The Shadowfell Conspiracy Purchase: -99
    Shared Bank Purchase: -1121
    Warforged Purchase: -248
    Grand Total: 903

Favor Earned This Level: 394 (3494 total)
DDO Points Earned This Level: 75 (standard bonus for earning 3200, 3300 and 3400 favor on a character)

Note: The warforged purchase means I will have to delay purchasing epic destines until I earn 3,800 favor but I think it was worth the trade-off.

    Crafting Update
Current Crafting Level: 74 (from character sheet)
Total Crafting XP: 3125 (from character sheet)
Items Deconstructed: 624 (from character sheet)
    Total Cannith Essences: 9,436

Note: All Crafting XP and Levels are from the tutorial and breaking down items for essences

Hey just wanted to say thanks for this series. I'm an old PnP player so I get the stat allocation and feat stuff but I'd be lost on enhancements without some guidance. I've been following your build and having a blast. I haven't really run into anything super challenging yet but I only just hit level 5 and haven't tried out Reaper yet.

Default Questing at Level 21 And Taking Level 22

This level was all about catching up on heroic quests now that I am locked out of running level 19 quests and below on reaper mode. I still have quite a few heroic quests to finish up at 22, but expect to complete all heroic quests before taking 23. In future lifes I will save some of the quests I am running for higher levels and only run the epic or legendary version, but since this build and series is intended to work for people new to the game I decided to run everything on heroic first rather than running a quest on R4 at level 30 for the very first time. This definitely takes longer, but is a much better way to learn quests.

Based on some feedback I will only be posting the elite videos for heroic clean up, but I am not going to take down any videos already posted. In the demon den's can be solo'd on hard but not elite so I will be posting that quest on hard. I will also be creating separate playlists once I get to 30 that shows all elite/reaper quests by quest level but will keep the current playlists as well.

Also, I ran several quests with a group so I could complete Genesis point which requires at least 2 people. I made videos but am not posting those because there was a lot of party chat making it difficult to do any explanation and I want to keep the videos family-friendly and the party chat didn't meet that criteria, so I will likely rerun most of those quests - some at this level and a few I might rerun later. To the extent I don't get any videos posted this life I will be sure to post videos of all quests on elite/reaper during the next 2 lifes.

After purchasing Epic Destinies I immediately gained nearly 200 hp in Unyielding Sentinel. My plan is to reach rank 4 and cross over to Grandmaster of Flower and move toward the primal trees. I'll need to cap one martial destiny to take the pierce adamantine epic destiny feat and one primal destiny to cap perfect two-handed fighting. I would like to cap all 3 martial destinies so I can take dire charge, but that would take considerably longer although it would make me stronger for the level 30 reaper questing. I am undecided about that, but since I will be running with a person that has good crowd control at 30 it gives me a little more flexibility.

Quests Ran: Heroic Clean up level 14-19 quests on normal, hard, elite

    Most Difficult Quests I ran
NA - as I am focused on heroic clean-up the quests are not difficult. Terminal Delerium Elite was difficult even in a full group with other players also level 21-23.

    Notable items earned
Jeweled Cloak 5 competence bonus to elemental resistance and 5 spell absorb charges (Gianthold End Reward List)
Blueshine club of Impactful Strikes (Chest) - should be able to sell this for significant platinum
Deathblock Augment x 2 (a person in the party I joined needed adamantine and had 2 augments for trade). I am avoiding trading with people I know in-game to keep my gear list realistic but since I didn't know this person and needed the augments I made the trade
Boots of Anchoring (item needed to run Tower of Despair Raid - I earned 2 of the 4 materials and the party gave me the other 2 materials so I could join their raid) . I am avoiding accepting gifts on this character although at least on Sarlona people are generous and it is not unusual at all for people to help others out with materials like this. Once you craft your boots those materials tend to accumulate and have little value.

Hi, I am returning back to DDO after a very long time away and thought I would give your build a try. I am able to build a 32 point build, where should the other 4 points go at character creation? Also, any extra room in your guild? Thanks for the wonderful guide!!!

Welcome back! This is how I set my points once I earned 32 point build and used my free lesser reincarnation heart:

    Str: 15
    Con: 14
    Dex: 8
    Int: 14
Wis: 14 (extra 4 points here)
    Char: 14

The reason is that you need 14 wisdom to cast level 4 spells, but it also helps with your will saves and spot check. The other option is going with 16 strength and 12 wisdom since the +2 ship buffs give you the minimum 14 to cast 4th level spells, but I went with the stats above.

Please send me a private message with your character name an I will send a guild invite through mail once the server is back up.

You should also bookmark this site when you get to a high enough level to run raids: https://www.guilded.gg/Easily-Distracted This is a multi-guild raiding community that is a very friendly and teaches all the raids in the game.

Default Questing at Level 22 And Taking Level 23

This level was all about catching up on heroic quests now that I am locked out of running level 19 quests and below on reaper mode. I completed my 5000-favor and am going to shift gears from heroic quests to epic questing, filling out destinies and working towards my level 30 goals which include being ready to run two-person reaper 4 quests at level 30 (specifically being strong enough to do that) and Tr'ing with a primal life.

Short-term I want to work on a level 21 set that is mostly from keep on the borderlands. At higher levels I will focus on a slave lord chain level 28 gear set for the simple reason it's not dependent on drops and makes "gear tetris" much easier since it's a crafting mechanism - key for a first-life character.

I'll need to cap one martial destiny to take the pierce adamantine epic destiny feat and one primal destiny to take perfect two-handed fighting. I would like to cap all 3 martial destinies so I can take dire charge, but that would take considerably longer although it would make me stronger for the level 30 reaper questing. I am undecided about that, but since I will be running with a person that has good crowd control at 30 it gives me a little more flexibility.

There have been reports on the forums that the first-time 5000-favor reward isn't granted to some people. I did receive my 100 point bonus for reaching 5000 favor

Quests Ran: Heroic Clean up level 15-19 quests on elite

    Notable items earned
Whisperchain Armor (End Reward High Road Chain) : Min Level 23 - Blurry, Ghostly, Superior False Life, Improved Sneak Attack 3, +4 insight to AC
Glittering Waistwrap: Charisma +8 Min Level 15 Belt
Hammerfist: Insightful Doublestrike 3%, Seeker 8, Insightful Deadly 2, Mythic +1 bonus
+5 Constitution Tome (5000 Favor Reward)
Greater and Lesser Harper Pin (Allows me to dispel a crowd control effect on me every 5 minutes - holds, stuns, etc.)

    Level Up Stat: None
    Feats: None

    No changes to enhancements

    Plan for Upcoming Level
    - Start Epic Questing

    Notable For New Level
    - This could be a very short level as I am 1 xp from 24 and now that heroic clean-up is complete there is no reason to hold a level

    Reaper Update
    Total reaper xp: 51,871
