The sheer dearth of good named Dwarven Axes is a major issue for builds aiming to use one. I managed to procure Duergar, lvl 21, only because some very generous person posted one on the Shard Auction on the cheap, but consider that it is classified with Drow weapons where it can come up as one among 12 different weapons as an end reward chest. Talk about lottery! And to make things worse, I was entertaining a dual Dwarven Axe wielder down the line, but equipped with what? Templar's Justice can theoretically be upgraded from lvl16 to 20, but Epic crafting needs either luck and massive farming as a rule, not a pleasant prospect. What is more the pity is that the new U45 patch makes using Dwarven Axes more attractive on paper thanks to all the Strikethrough perks, which was the foundation behind my Dwarven Paladin equipped with axe, racial perks to favor the axe, and shield.
