Default Sorceror notes, post 46.2 nerf

So I did some testing yesterday post the patch. The short answer is, sorc dps on fire is still just fine. Other types of savants may feel the nerf a lot more.
    dragonborn fire sorceror
Level 24, spell power around 675ish, meta'd to around 900ish
    Spells
burning hands SLA---oddly, with master of fire, this one stays quick, almost free and still kinda relevant
d6+1 with 5 base MCL, 3 MCL from sorc cores, 3 from draconic 2 from dragonborne 10 from master of fire, so this one is 23d6+23 or around 103.5 base, with spell power its around 1000 base. With crits its in the 2000-2500 range. For a freebie its not bad and its a button to spam when other stuff is on cooldown.
scorch SLA d6+2 with 10 base MCL with the mods from before, this is doing 28d6 +56 or 154 base. This is doing around 1500 base with around 3000 to 4000 crits. Its area effect profile is a pretty useful one and again, dirt cheap to cast.
Fireball SLA 28d6 + 84 or around 182 base. This one is hitting close to 2000 base and critting in the 4000 to 4500 range. Again, dirt cheap, cheap enough to use to bust boxes.

Delayed blast fireball---bread and butter spell
d6+7 with 28 MCL (3 cores 2 dragonborn 3 draconic) This is 294 base, hitting in the 2300 range, critting in the 5000-5500 range. Why does it not hit all that much harder than sla fireball? Because it is not getting max/empower and other goodies which I could turn on I suppose if I want to burn tons of mana.

Meteor swarm, another bread and butter
Near as I can tell, the MCL on this spell is 20, modified by fire savant cores but with -3 from being in elemental form, so it probably is hitting with mcl 25
each meteor is doing d3+1 fire and d2+1 bludgeon.
So this should be 4 * 25* (3 + 2.5) base approximately or around 550, then modified by spellpower for 4000 to 5000 base hits and 10000ish crits. This seems reasonable given testing in game. The bludgeon part will be a little lower because impulse spell power is usually lower than fire.

Dragon breath from destiny is d15 + 15 and seems to be hitting a CL around 37. This means its hitting close to 8000 noncrit and close to 20k on a crit.
Energy burst is doing similar damage to that. These 2 have long cooldowns but they're hitting similarly to a combo of a DB fireball plus a meteor swarm.

Now if you get gear to raise your crit multiplier, you can jack these numbers up yet further. If you drop master of fire for burst of glacial wrath, your SLAs will become a lot less relevant (and you might consider dumping those 9 points into making maximize more efficient so you can run with maximize on most of the time.

I really could not tell a difference playing my level 30 tiefling fire sorc last night. I ran WPM solo on R3 a few times and joined a sharn R6 group for a few quests and had I not known there was a patch yesterday I would not have known anything changed (other than my reduced HP in reaper). Granted I am basing this on "feel" here as I do not have the before and after data to back this up but I have played this build consistently since getting completionist back after Alchemist was released so I have a pretty good idea of its performance and capabilities.

It's in the ballpark of a 6-7% nerf on DB fireball/meteor swarm. No nerf on energy burst/dragon breath. It's not a huge deal, its an adjustment not an inquisition.
