    Default Can't access my account

    Posting from a friend's account:
    After several years without playing, I tried to access my account again to get back into the game. However, a message pops up saying password is wrong. I had the password written down so this feels strange. I could log into a friends account (this one) so its not a client issue. The problem might be that the password isn't the one i think it is. However, when I try to recover the password with the https://www.ddo.com/en/account/password/forgot page, I get an error when I type in my username ("couldn't process request"). Typing a random username yields a different message so I know I got the username right, however none of the options I've found to recover/change password have worked. Is there any way I can get my account back?

    Edit: Adding error messages as requested
    When trying to log in with what I believe was the password: "The username and/or password provided is incorrect. Please try again. Username and password are case sensitive."
    When entering username in the link: "We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later."

    ...and would asking you to share the text of those error messages be asking too much?

    If you remember the e-mail that you used, you can get your account info auto-sent to that.

    have you tried logging in or password recover from this site?
    https://myaccount.turbine.com/index.php

    try that see if it helps

    Thanks. Added the error messages. I've messed around with everything I could find. I got the info sent but I believe the e-mail adress was deleted, I was just wondering if there were any other options to verify ownership of the account.

    Did you ever get any resolution? I'm having a similar issue where I can reset my password, but I still get a wrong password message when I try to use my new password.

    Default Account Deletion

    Sorry to necro this. I do NOT know how to open an issue to delete my account.
    I would like my account to be deleted, but I can't find out, how to open a Thread, or which Person to DM.

    You don't delete an account.

    You can delete/change any credit card info/e-mail/etc., but the account itself remains.

    Yea my friend is having this same problem. He goes through the process of trying to reset his password and does it then when he tries the new password it still says its wrong. My brother is also having issues with trying to just make a new free account, basically says the webpage isn't working for creating a new free account.
    Update: My friend also said the play for free or create new account is not working for him. He tried submiting a ticket almost 24 hours ago now to get help with his password recovery problem and still hasn't heard anything back from standing stone games.
