Where does Runic Trinket drop?

So my Runic trinket seems to have gotten lost in TR cache, so i've been trying to farm out a new one, but been having no luck.



On the wikipage here https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Runic_Trinket it's listed as being obtained from the repossession end reward, however after grinding that out for a long time (check the quest end chest just in case) I've not seen it in the reward, is it just insanely rare or does it not drop from the reward?

I've also ran the entire chain 3 times for the guaranteed end reward list, which is only weapons.

I got it this life on my artificer from the end reward the dragon gives so it's working fine I think. Just rare.

Also, in DDO when you farm for a particular item you never get it, just sayin

Get the repossession mission from Kear, I've seen that trinket many times in his reward list when I turn in the mission, never any other place.

Yeah, it used to have the "super useful" lesser efficacy clicky, +3 alchemical bonus to spell power, that definitely deserved the "exclusive" status.
Unfortunately, when the item got redesigned (thanks Lynnabel?), the exclusive status was not removed (boo Lynnabel?).

Yes but it is also useable between accounts. U can pass to other people

Yeah, it's def not a "33%" type of drop. I'd put it more around 5-10%, unfortunately. But it is from the end-reward list (not the end chest) of Repo. (Note that end-reward lists can also be ransacked, so keep that timing in mind.)

I just tried it out. I was able to put it into the Shared Bank. Shared, mind you.

The page even says it is "unbound". Means it can be put into the shared bank. And thus used within an account.

Huh? Alrik, what're you smoking?

"Unbound" means exactly that - no restrictions. Identical to any piece of generic droploot. Trade it between alts, put it in a shared bank, mail it, whatever. Unbound.

I love this item. I somewhat inadvertently wore it to level 18 last life and it served me well. They are super squishy though. I have permanently broken them in the past and had to go farm a new one. Grab high level alts and get the end reward until ransack. It seems to drop a little less than 1 out of 8 times.

Really this. I decided I wanted a second Shard of Xoriat on my account. My last time through that quest pack I ran sane asylum at least ten times looking for that thing, no joy.

If you are using it that often and that long, then run it through the stone of change to bind it and give it a dose of the adamantine ritual so it goes longer between needing repairs.

OP: What server are you on? I am on Thelanis and I have a spare you can have for free. It certainly looks unbound to me.
