Default Returning player looking for guild

My main characters are a level 15 artificer and a level 7 warlock on Ghallanda. I can't promise any significant active hours until I get back into the swing of the game, but just looking for a guild that doesn't mind someone relearning the game from scratch. It's been a couple years I think. Thanks in advance!

Edit to add: I do have other characters on every server, besides the testing one, those were just my main from before, and I have level 7 veteran status so I can easily make a mid-level character if needed.

Welcome back to DDO! I run on Cannith so can’t help with a guild on Ghallanda. The Silver Legion is a great guild for players looking to learn the game on Cannith. Check out their website at http://www.guildmedieval.com

I'll pass, I don't have 3 hours to sit reading rules, and I feel sorry for anyone who does. Jesus man...

    Welcome back to DDO Godfried!

I will state that I came to this thread via recommendation from a fellow guildie to see if you'd be interested joining us. I am saddened by your reply to the guild above, Guild Medieval.

D&D is founded upon camaraderie, Gary Gygax would of had it no other way, and Guild Medieval has been a shining star in this en-devour for many, many years. I cringed when I read what you stated about their guild rules. It's not easy doing what guild's like theirs have accomplished.

DDO needs guilds like Guild Medieval, who are willing to manage the player experience for their guildies so that they have a top notch experience each time they log in. We apply the exact same methodology in Tyrs Paladium.

Our members RELY on our rules, and our willingness to help ensure a drama free environment when they play. They know they can log on every night, or whenever they play, and already know that they can escape their real life dramas and join their friends and fam for some *** kickin adventure without the stress. Life, and time is precious commodity. For our officers, our members, our leaders... we treat everyone as equals. It takes YEARS to build a guild and be as confident as I am that what I state is true.

DDO is a game that has always been driven by the camaraderie of the playerbase, and DDO's secret weapon (to many gamers who havent experienced DDO) is its guild system. It just BLEEDS team play, and its there for the asking. Guilds are the LIFE BLOOD of this game.

So I also say thank you to GM, Guild Medieval, on the time and effort of their officers, and in their guild rules that they believe so dearly in and have enforced for the benefit of their guildies over the years!

Well Godfried -- enjoy DDO. Hope you look a bit brighter upon our long time guilds in the future that have been around the block, and made DDO a better game for it.

Guild rules are fine, but yall have rules the length of a college thesis. That's way overboard and I'm not going to join a guild ruled with an iron fist like that.

A list of 20 items is a college thesis nowadays? I had it tougher in Catholic grammar school (in 6th grade -- circa 1970's). Book reports were at least 8 pages long. And we could not do it on a computer! Cursive baby!

Guilds like Gm & Tyrs are NOT for everyone. Everyone plays for their own reasons. I know for a fact there are guilds out there that will be more than happy to run with ya.

    Enjoy your DDO bro!

Its all good in the Woods!

There was the list of 20 items. Then there were like 10 other sections with in depth rules, in paragraph form.

At least know what your own rule site looks like before asking someone to join it.

If you’re ever on Orien, Aebro’s Heroes only has one rule (Ok...that’s other than our no duping rule that’ll get a player booted/reported): “Don’t suck the fun out of it.”

We’re a small, level 144 guild with maxed-out amenities on a spacious, yet cozy Kraken. While we don’t actively recruit, we like to offer a home for a select few ruffians, scalawags and scoundrels looking for an active, yet relaxed guild. Right now we’re mainly focusing on TR trains, but members can run whenever and with whomever they want.

Anyway, if you ever got “Needs Improvement” on the “Plays Well With Others” section of your school report card, we’re looking for you!

Edit: Ok, make that guild level 145.

    Edit2: K...make that level 146.

    Edit3: Alright...147.
