    Default Same issue different product

I bought the starter pack from the Marketplace on the DDO website and still have the free account and not the premium account.
As per the wiki I believe the starter pack counts for this. Was expecting the option to make five characters instead of three and chapter 1 of the monster manual unlocked, but nope.
Is the premium account still a thing? I can't seem to find anything saying it's not.

    Definitely still a thing.

I opened this account F2P last week - used the content code, and then bought some points while in game which I used to get the Shadowfell and Menace of the Underdark expansions.

When i logged in the next day it was showing up as a premium account and I had 5 x characters slots on the account.

Not sure about how that introductory offer works - but in any case - premium is still a thing based on the above.

    Best of luck.

    Default An update: Still waiting.

So still have the same problem.

Put in a ticket (136743) with support four days ago and have only gotten the auto response reply.
Have you had any luck @Nobita?

I have been enjoying the game so far but it's starting to become an annoyance and I have developed an eye twitch whenever I get the message "Sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't allow you to do that. Please upgrade your account to VIP or Premium".

I was under the impression that one had to spend actual money in the game (no matter how little) to become premium.

Is this code supposed to get around this requirement?
He left the name, at which the world grew pale.

I have a premium account that is due to a purchase of the 'Starter pack' on steam, on sale.

Any real money purchase is supposed to get you premium access, some codes don't seem to apply it correctly and you have to get support to apply premium manually.

    Good Luck.

Try buying the cheapest thing in the in-game store with DDO Points. Sometimes that kicks the game into recognizing you're premium.

I had bought the Shared Bank: Item Storage (30 Slots) on the 28th from the DDO point store and my account still wasn't upgraded.

I had the same problem a while ago: I bought the Starter Pack for a secondary account, which remained free-to-play with only 3 character slots. I submitted a ticket and the account was upgraded to Premium soon afterwards.

Hopefully the ticket will work out well for you, too!

    Update:
I remembered that another account of mine still suffered from a similar problem, so I submitted a ticket and the issue was fixed within a few hours.

Day nine and still free to play.

Maybe it will get fixed when they do the server maintenance? *crosses fingers*

My ticket kept getting closed without being fixed. Eventually I got it to go through and they manually bumped my account up. You might have better luck messaging Cord your ticket # and see if he can do anything to get it fixed.
