Hey, I read most of threads here about fire sorc, but most od them don't include best / optimal gear setup for fire sorcerer.

Giant's Platter off-hand swap for when you want a little more protection?

Tier 1 and 2 LGS and don't worry about tier 3 because we're all going to re-gear with Feywild

Don't forget the Slave Lords resistance item. That's probably going to be the best source of Resistance even after Feywild. It might end up in a different slot, but that's DDO for ya.

The belt stacks with anything you get from LGS magma. Don't drop the belt. The belt is the only source for that spell power bonus because it's typed weirdly.

Yes, I am currently planning LGS on T2 only, because I miss some components after upgrading HP LGS on my tank.

The question is what slot should it be? Once Fey exp launch I probably be on a different class anyway, so its a choice for next month only

But a greensteel item can make up for that by also giving +37 quality and +37 exceptional bonuses...types that may not be easily slotted in elsewhere? (I think the elemental spiral gives +50 exceptional, but ugh...how annoying it si to continuously swap weapons to keep up that bonus...I tried for a bit on a fiend pact warlock...hated it)

I am just basing my comments on some wiki surfing...I have never actually created a LGS spellpower weapon. I just hoard my legendary greensteel ingredients awaiting the mythical "completion" of my build, which will probably never arrive. Burnscar Sash and Legencary Burnscar Sash is Enhanced Corrosion plus Enhanced Combustion.

To be clear, I completely understand that most common bonuses are "equipment" bonus. But the Wiki specifically calls the LGS tier 1 an "enhancement" bonus. The wiki also states that "Enhanced Combustion" grants an "enhancement" bonus.

So the RL belt stacks specifically with LGS Tier 1...based on testing. I wonder which one is wrong in the wiki, since both are listed as "enchancement" bonuses.

This would suggest that max spell power would include both an LGS magma weapon AND the belt? (Along with an appropriate "equipment" bonus from something like Wild Flame?)

I notice how you keep not answering the question about LGS in particular, and just keep repeating "everything". Even if it is a perfectly accurate answer, it's phrased completely unhelpfully as a response to a question about the typing of LGS spell power in particular.

Did the testing you conducted actually include the Tier 1 LGS spell power? Did it determine whether it's actually Equipment, or actually Enhanced, or actually something else that stacks with both?

Or is this "testing" of "everything" actually not include LGS at all, and just confirm the well-known fact that the belts stack with normal Equipment bonuses? (Which wasn't the question that wasn't asked.)

The ravenloft belts stack with everything but lgs enhanced spell power which i believe is tier 2 tier 1 is equipment tier 3 is quality which can also be rare to slot

Another item you might want is the pn raid gogs for insightful spell dcs useful for sharns and any new packs that come out probably

Magma or radiance max fire power n blind procs n affirmation aren't too bad off hands

Tier 1 is equipment bonus won't stack with any other equipment pretty sure my belt n radiance stacks fine

my radiance tier 3 stacks with my belt and my neclace just tested you'll almost always have equipment on something else these days

Tier 3 is exceptional not quality just read it so can stack quality too on something else

Tier 2 says quality and looks like mine stacks without belt 644 fire power with belt on 845 so mines working

I have a Reaper Stat Legendary Standard Issue Faceplate that I throw on after I use up the 18% SP I get from the LGS set bonus. For LGS Swaps I recommend Ash, Vacumn, and Affirmation. You can equip Ash and Vacumn throw a Wizard Past Life MM and get almost full debuffs instantly.

This is my take on the most optimized gear set up for a Sorc pursuing near max DPS with very good DC casting and PRR.
