Hey, I read most of threads here about fire sorc, but most od them don't include best / optimal gear setup for fire sorcerer.

   - For sure LGS - fire crit item - what slot ?
2. What can be upgraded in existing setup?
3. What are viable weapon choices for fire sorc?
   - Any orb maybe?
   - Staff of Irian ??

Giant's Platter off-hand swap for when you want a little more protection?

Tier 1 and 2 LGS and don't worry about tier 3 because we're all going to re-gear with Feywild

Don't forget the Slave Lords resistance item. That's probably going to be the best source of Resistance even after Feywild. It might end up in a different slot, but that's DDO for ya.

Hey, I will slot 4 lgs for max hp and spell crit damage (T1+T2 Ethereal Dominion + oppo material set).
You could drop belt for LGS magma in offhand.

The belt stacks with anything you get from LGS magma. Don't drop the belt. The belt is the only source for that spell power bonus because it's typed weirdly.

Is it? I ask only because if you look at the wiki, it shows the Tier 1 spell power from LGS as +150 enhancement spell power, which is the same as the belt. Granted, the belt has a +202 enhancement bonus and I don't think there is another way to get the +52 difference in the enhancement type.

But a greensteel item can make up for that by also giving +37 quality and +37 exceptional bonuses...types that may not be easily slotted in elsewhere? (I think the elemental spiral gives +50 exceptional, but ugh...how annoying it si to continuously swap weapons to keep up that bonus...I tried for a bit on a fiend pact warlock...hated it)

So it would appear that in the neverending game of gear tetris, the LGS magma weapon might reasonably trade with the belt slot if you had a good use for that particular slot?

I am just basing my comments on some wiki surfing...I have never actually created a LGS spellpower weapon. I just hoard my legendary greensteel ingredients awaiting the mythical "completion" of my build, which will probably never arrive. (Closing in on racial completionist, but probably will get there about the time a new race is added, ha!)

Burnscar Sash and Legencary Burnscar Sash is Enhanced Corrosion plus Enhanced Combustion.

Only source in the game for Enhanced Corrosion and Combustion.

Stacks with everything else.

(same with the other spell power belts in Ravenloft)

Hmm few T1 and 2 LGS are doable with my current components.. but what effects should I take ? Lgs except special bonuses are rather ... mediocre?

Yes, I am currently planning LGS on T2 only, because I miss some components after upgrading HP LGS on my tank.

The question is what slot should it be? Once Fey exp launch I probably be on a different class anyway, so its a choice for next month only

-4 SP for Maximise and 31% Mystic diversion. If you don't care about that, then there's your slot. If you do care about that, then helmet is your only other slot, I think? Except I ahven't had my coffee yet, so I'm not counting right.

I was just thinking about these boots.. it's best quality cha source just after slave lords crafting
