A Cure Wounds Potion Hat. Looks like the traditional Beer Can Hat - but with Cure potions instead.

    Or something like.

Default What kind of hat does DDO need?

A Hat of Disguise so that our toons can *appear* to be races other than they are.

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

    Default Too many options!

As much as I would personally like to wear a fez....

It would be cool to have a range of Busby hats since they are so easily adjustable based on the stature of the wearer. And unlike other hats, they are able to be manipulated (height, color, medallions) and so they could be:
    1) used to denote rank in guilds
    2) given out as a cosmetic for favor or saga rewards, size, medallions etc. denoting difficulty of accrual
    3) offered as 20th raid loot Busby option with the color of the Busby dependent on the house colors of said raid.

Plus, gnomes & wf would be cute in a busby

    A fez.

Can't have a proper intrigue without someone who wears a fez.

A Hat of Disguise that lets you save a cosmetic outfit (Armor, Cloak, Helm/Goggles, Weapon/Shield) to display whenever the hat is equipped.
    Astreya the Unturning

It's always a shame when the hammer of poor design choices smashes the fun of player tactical adaptation.
