Hi all! I know that this was a common issue last year, but no solutions have worked for me (and I've tried everything I could find online) and customer service is living up to its bad reputation - haven't gotten a response.

I am trying to download DDO onto my new computer through Steam, and at the second last file (dndclient.exe) I get the error "There was an error generating the hash code for a patch file". This continues even after computer restarts and completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I have tried many methods to solve this, and I am sure that it is not my firewall. I had totally disabled Windows Defender and my router firewall, I have changed my DNS, and have even tried using mobile data from my phone, all to no avail. Two of my friends are having the same issue, and we don't know anyone that we can copy the dndclient.exe file from. Anybody figured out how to solve this?
